The group of Bastyr University students from Seattle, Washington visited Malama Aina, the real tropical permaculture paradise on the Big Island Hawaii 🌴🥥
Students came here to learn about different aspects of creating self-sufficient sustainable "food forest" by mimicking natural ecosystems, and managing the land design to help Mother Earth flourish in her flow, intertwining elements 🌞🌿

I volunteered at Malama Aina myself and that was incredibly valuable experience for me. The amount of knowledge i gained for 2 months is indescribable. I have so much more clarity and confidence after such an experience, i highly recommend volunteering there 🥑
