5:50 is exactly why I don't understand the lack of spotting pins, in training or in meets.. It's one thing to be an OLY lifter and have the skill and high bar position to bail a squat, but why the fuck would u risk it doing low bar with huuge weights? Seems so obvious to me I don't understand

+Cassandra Decker Yeah it seems crazy. Those spotters just putting their hands under 300+ KG? Like they will be able to do anything if the lifter's leg gives out or something.

All of Belyaev's deadlift attempts looked extremely easy.

Belyaevs limitation is his grip. Obviously he could have deadlifted much more. Sickening. His third attempt looked like an opener.

Both lifters are incredible, its amazing to see how slow and ULTRA STRICT Belyaev can bench, RAWWWW !! What about over 400 kg Squats without supersuits??? Im curious to the kind of training these guys do... Do they squat/bench/deadlift on the conventional powerlifting frequency as 1 to 2 workouts per lift a week, or do they follow high frequency olympic lifting like training? Denilson Costa / Brazil

@deni77 I read somewhere that Malanichev will hardly do any assistance work. For squat all he does is warm up with bar and keep stacking weight 'til about 390-400 for triples and doubles. Same with deadlift, just a little bit less. He does more assistance stuff for bench than anything else.

Great lifting. I'll watch for future videos. Do you know anyone who got Phillip Brewer 217,5 KG bench at 75KG? Keep banging the weights.

@andrekir I can't get my head around a monolift. I use normal squat racks in training all the time and always walk my squats out. When i'm in competitions that have monolifts, i walk them out as that's what i always do in training. I'm guessing Andrey in the same.

Anyone know the song name that was playing during Belyaev's 250 Bench?

there's over 40 kilos difference between the two guys and yet Belyaev was able to bench more? that's incredible, but both guys are insanely strong lifters! Malanichev will definitely hit that 1000lb+ squat soon

two words pal,i didnt see any weight squatted by him with knee wraps that surpassed malanichev in weight.strong as hell with the front squat, but unfortunately no back squat that would be bigger than 450kg.

@nonameplayer yeah, but malanichev is stronger.there is no other man on earth that can squat so much as him.

@andrekir He's propably not used to a monolift. Belyaev did the same when he began lifting with a monolift.

My friend did some programming that Balyaev used at one point. It worked up to squatted 4-5 times a week, deadlifting 3-5 times a week, and benching 6 times a week.

if malanichev got the 250 bench and 390 deadlift it would have been an all time world record

Yeah I don't really consider sumo a deadlift. We all know that the heaviest deads have all been pulled conventional.

Tony Dudley Oh yeah, because pulling 460 kg @ 170 kg bodyweight is more impressive than 403.5 kg @ 110 kg bodyweight. Sure, there's Magnusson, Bolton, Shaw, Savickas, but Green, Belyaev, Fedorenko, Pozdeev, lift near the same poundages while weighing far, far less. Belyaev's very easy 395 kg @ 89.9 kg bodyweight >>>>> Savickas' no doubt insanely impressive 440 kg @ 170 kg bodyweight.

Jeppe Møller Well, if I ever need someone to lift less weight, at a lighter bodyweight, and be less impressive, I'll make sure to give you and all those other guys you named a call. LOL!
