The Malays are friendly people by nature. I am a Chinese Singaporean and once lost my way driving from Singapore to get to Redang island. I parked my car at a petrol station and asked a Malay gentleman on how to get to the jetty. I explained to him that I am rushing for time to reach the jetty and there is only one trip per day in the morning. This kind man told me that there is no way I can reach there in time simply by giving me directions - he asked me to follow his car. We finally reached the jetty ahead of time. I tried to compensate him for his time taken and for his petrol (we drove for about 20 minutes) but he declined and wished us a pleasant stay in Malaysia. Malaysians are indeed friendly and kind.

i also agree with all that except malaysia is only origin is orang asli.some people says malay came from indonesia.what???malay has been in tanah melayu for a long time before malaysia and indonesia was ditubuhkan.malay archipelago include southern thailand, malaysia, sumatera indonesia, borneo, brunei, singapore, hawaii and philipine.i’m malay agree with all that namewee friend says but not the only orang asli is the original in malaysia
We as Malaysian don't hate each other. Its all because of government. And a lot of us chinese (educated, not ah beng type) respect Islam even I also have awesome Malay friends. And in Penang, is not like we complain of azan, they have lower the volume which is good for all races, except floating mosque which they always preach politic than Quran. And they have damn a lot speakers and one of the loudest mosque in the island. Even my sick Malay friends told me they cannot rest properly. Kesian them 😥

Just wanted to say I respect people like Edly, who truly embrace the spirit of Malaysia, which is multicultural, not the mention the Malaysian way~ The reason why I said this is because of so many people I met in other countries, we actually discussed on the definition of multicultural. China alone, have more than 50 tribes of native languages, Indian also have Tamil and Hindu, Americans and Canadians, although speaking the same languages, can criticized each other just because of accent! Then when I tell them I can speak 5 languages, and not just me but almost everyone in the country, would mix up at least 3 languages to buy a simple takeaway (e.g Ui boss, tapau tiga chau kui tiao, I go round round nanti balik"), not to mention everyone understands it! They are all stunned, wondering how the whole nation can do that, and I proudly tell them: "Well, that's true multicultural my friends. What you have there are war slaves and brain washing" If you ask me, Malaysian are not many bottle of drinks and liqueur put together in a fridge, that's what other country does, in Malaysia we're the fucking cocktail, we mixed everything up and tell the world the best drink out there is not in a closed sealed bottle, but in a glass, mixed with so many flavors that just blow your mind away, we even created many our own flavors along the way. So Chinese, Malays, Indians and all our orang asli, are you a closed sealed bottle labeling your own flavors only? or are you embracing what Malaysian is truly proud of? Give it a thought, I still remember the night when I have that conversations with those whites and chingkies, their face is priceless.

If you read the comments about this video on Namewee's facebook page, you could see *a number of Chinese* stating that "Namewee is a lackey to chinese" "namewee throws chinese face" "you and that malay insulting chinese girls" Now this will be an essay to those *Chinese* who can't stand this video. I'm a chinese too, and i'm really disappointed of the replies. Remember, I do not represent any political parties in case you want to blast me with political reasons. 1. From the comments on facebook some of you are patently too self-righteous. Why do you keep on condemning people when we ourselves have problems (attitude) too? Didn't you realize somehow, edly speaks the truth? This is how they viewed the chinese. Well not all are true, like chinese is communist, want to take control of the gov, it's crap, those who think like that is seemingly dumb and stupid. But we condemn all malays in purpose or "accidentally" which i don't care, should at least make a better phrase like "some malays". Some of the malays are good, like edly. 2. Blaming the malays in every consequences, this utterly shows that you are quite an extremist. You view everything in your own perspective, without caring other races. And then zero tolerations, not to say tolerating the gov (well since the gov did too much insolent stuffs to us), just, tolerate what the malays view on us chinese. Like "cina tamak", you can think very carefully, "oh, are we really greedy? nvm put that aside", not "bodoh la melayu =starts racist and impolite sentence=". Please, act like an educated person. BN/government/UMNO doesn't represent all the malays in this country, so don't spread those insolent and racist comments all over the area until you figure out that the action is just retrograding your IQ level. 3. And then some will start saying me "BN dog" "MCA dog" "throw chinese face keep on covering malays"

Well yeah he has quite a bad attitude, but if we think in the other side, maybe he did this just to entertain us, in fact it's entertaining, like the critics about AES System and the "Let Me Speak" woman. Despite having a "bad" attitude, his words are strong and convincing, he is brave enough to criticize the current gov, speak out what we really feel beneath our heart, making us realize the point of speech freedom.

I'm not a psychologist nor a historian but here's my 2cents behind our different methods of pursuing happiness and I think one of the reason is to do with the materials we consume on a daily basis. Malaysian Chinese consume movies, TV shows and other entertainment contents mainly from Hong Kong and Taiwan, two of the "Tiger Economies" of Asia prior to China's rise. Contents from those countries during their booming times put a lot of emphasis on climbing the corporate/business/social ladder, which is the Chinese social mantra since ancient times up to this day. On the other hand, the Malaysian Malays consumed content produced locally and from Indonesia. And the contents produced by both ethnic groups did not put much emphasis on wealth generation. Instead it stressed more on social harmony, social ethics, and national identity. However this has begun to change, especially as both ethnic groups begin to become more exposed to new heights. It has nothing much to do with race or religion, the concept of perfecting/improving oneself is a natural instinct in all humans and it is also taught in all religions. It just so happens that different people take different routes to reach that goal in life. Therefore it is something we could learn from each other, exchanging values, which will definitely benefit us as a nation. Now is no longer the time for you against us or us against you, rather must be us against the world. FYI, I lived and studied in England for 2 years, so I truly know the feeling of an "identity crisis" because some of my mates, while filling in a form, asked "What should I write in the Nationality column? Chinese?" I answered "Malaysian", they went "Ohh... I see.."

It's not about racism for your case, dude...It's our human nature instinct..even animals, because we want to group up together with our closest species as we can.... You should notice that majority group also categorised under gender...If you place 3 Chinese (1 male,2 female) together, I think you would expect that both girls will get to know each other first before that boy.... So, if apply to races instead of gender, the result I think you should be able to guess too..Just give some time, people will gradually get close to know with you... Ask yourself what if you place a Malay inside a huge group of indians?? I think you should know what I meant now....

Deny Demise - But....why in let say USA or Australia, people of different races readily mix with each other? Even Chinese there happily speak English with local accent. Why? Because they are progressive. Don't we Malaysians want to be progressive too? So why blame "human nature instinct"? Simple, because you don't want to.

So when Chinese wanted to earn more and started to be very hardworking then they shouldn't said us tamak la, if ur hardworking makes you earn more money, then we should be hardworking, if you're able to make yourself and your family lives better why wont you do tht, right? BAGUS VIDEO NI.. SUKA SNGAT KALO BEKAWAN DENGAN LAIN BANGSA.. XSEMUA MELAYU MALAS DAN XSEMUA CINA RAJIN.. SAMA JE.. ADA RAJIN ADA MALAS ADA BAIK ADA NAKAL...
Our world needs more love, more understanding, more faith, more mercy, more enthuasiasm, more hope, more romance, more desire. If we begin to treat each other through those driving forces and learn to work on ourselves in order to stay away from our negative driving forces. Then we can become positive examples of our relegions and races. We must accept and embrance our differences because our differences are what makes us human. Yet, no matter what we believe in or where we come from, we all share basic more principles. That is the common ground we must build on. Do Not Do To Others That Which Would Anger You If Others Did It To You.

well…seems like all race r standing together when talking about sexy girls…:p
Malaysians are not 'friend' to each other , they are like family members by birth. Occasionally some of them have quarrel, bickering and fighting due to ignorant and childishness, they also confuse easily by constantly listening to 'toxic'' political rhetoric from their politicians and religious leaders . 'orang cina' and 'kaum cina' are of 2 different meanings, they are mutually exclusive words except some uneducated persons can not differentiate them.

Hahahaha you guys are funny, I am a Malay and I am 16 years old. I hate people who are racist because they're all shallow minded people. Stupidity, especially in its nastiest forms of racism and superstition. Our true nationality is mankind. I do love the Chinese people because they're good in various medicines, especially in the medical tradition. Their food is also delicious as well as their traditional wearings.Say no to racism~!!!

I once got in a fight with a fellow Malay in a KTM because he threw some racist remarks to a Chinese guy. Idk what was the cause of their fight but making racist remarks, that's where he crossed the line. Yes, racism is still here in Malaysia

+Farhan Malaysian politician is bad. They play with races and religions while every human has same DNAs. They even use science to justify the differences of every races and religions. I, as a Malaysian is very ashamed of this "united race propaganda" of Malaysia.
