Hello from the UK, thanks for sharing your insights! A lot of your attitudes to driving are similar to mine. Seeing the traffic flows and manoeuvring is very much like the UK except we have fewer motorcycles around. I have been to several S.E Asia countries but Malaysia is the only country where I have felt comfortable riding a motorbike and driving a car, in fact last year I drove myself from Penang to Terranganu, then to Cameron Highlands and back to Penang, I'm glad I have been using an app to learn Bahasa Indonesia as it helped to understand some of the road signs in BM.

Hey you've driven on some of the really scenic roads in Malaysia! And yes, the traffic systems here are similar to the UK, after all we used to be a British colony :) I'm hoping to add more driving videos, covering scenic routes and towns while providing info on the challenges drivers face here. Hopefully it helps folks drive safer and with less stress :) Cheers, and thanks for your comments.

@@RaggySingh Indeed, I really enjoying seeing the Hills and plantations in Kelatan, passing by Royal belum and cruising along the coast in Terranganu

Hi again! Ok, I will be moving to Batu Ferringhi in a year or two and I understand the road can be congested. Let me know if you are interested in being my driving instructor when I am there, even when I visit so that a long timer can fill me in on Penang. I want to learn the insides and outs of the island. Let me know how to contact you.

Hi, thanks for your comments, I'd be happy to share tips with you and give guidance but I'm afraid I can't commit to being a driving instructor as I have a full-time day job and apart from that am also a musician who does performances as well as studio work, songwriting and live streams....I'm thus unable to commit to being an instructor. (I don't even have time to take guitar students!) I'm sure you'll be able to find many people willing to help with driving in Malaysia, there is a large expat community here, you'll make friends in no time and folks here tend to be friendly and always willing to help. If you give me your email address I'll send you my contact info. Cheers. Raggy.
