N is on the top, S is bottom meaning that E is right and W is on the left, so that Town A is on the top and right on Town B. Meaning that Town A is NORTH-EAST of Town B. No wonder A was correct. Fact: The town question is from the 2017 Rosyth P6 Math Prelim (SA2) paper, question 13. The answer sheet actually says that the answer D: Town A is north-west of Town D, meaning that the answer of this question is wrong plus some users didn't even think about the correct answer (for real) and just say to try the PSLE math exam. I mean some adults took those PSLE math papers nearly pass away. It is crazy just to think no users can just even think of taking PSLE exams just yet. They are like: Oh look, they are wrong, they must take PSLE math papers. I mean it's just a mistake, why just have to say to them, also PSLE is Primary School Leaving Examination.

Soalan yang Jane tu the easiest way to find out is cari the difference in angle (135-90 = 45) and since clockwise rotation lagi besar so 45 degree clockwise akan menghadap emma. Therefore, dia start dari Rina.

You guys should try out the PSLE questions. Haha! It’s crazy enough for Singaporeans to answer. But to be honest… it’s really abt the differences how we were taught then and how the kids are taught now. Then, math is all about finding the answer. But now… they focus a lot on heuristics and processes. Being able to justify why you answer what you answer is the main key to Singapore Math.

I remember back in primary (and secondary) I asked my teachers why can't I get the full marks to a question. I explained to them my steps. And the answer were.. the marker only accept "this kind" of steps. If I was a student now, maybe I could have gotten A for my maths.😒

10:17 it is so much more easier than you think, because you know that Jane made a 90 degree turn anticlockwise and after that a 135 degree turn clockwise, you can safely write 135 - 90 = 45. So you know that from her original point to the ending point is only 45 degree away from each other. Because we took 135 degrees in *clockwise* to minus, it will be 45 degree in *clockwise* direction. Hence, you can find jane's original point by working backwards from Emma.

soalan Jane tu best nak jawab gak. this is my way of answer lah. don't judge hehe. since dia tanya who was Jane facing at first, so all the movement will be opposite. 90degree clock wise. 135degree anticlockwise. so it would be 90 - 135 = -45 at then end Jane facing Emma. 45degree anticlockwise from Emma would be Rina. if buat calculation first also can lah. 135 - 90 = 45. then baru opposite-kan directionnya.

The jane qn actually u could have just took 360/8 =45 means each person is 45deg. Emma anti-clockwise 3 person (45×3=135) clockwise 2 person (45×2=90) u'll get Rina.

Hey, if you guys ask me i have no idea y the town question is like that. As a singaporean and as someone who is strong in math even i got the same exact answer so yea if there is an actual explanation to that answer for that question i'd like to know. Or y'know maybe you guys picked out a question where the answer sheet got it wrong and even your teachers will be like wtf y the answer wrong then you as students have to ask the teachers to add marks because you got the right answer, trust me happened to me number of times in tests luckily rarely happens in important exams
