Because our border are still close for the foreigner but any tourist that stuck in Malaysia because or MCO, CMCO and RMCO our government allowed tourist to extende their visa. For your information, our country right now is under Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO). A lot of economic sectors are allowed but they really have tight rules. This RMCO remain until 31st of Ogos. I hope you guys can enjoy your holiday here before you go back to your country. Don't call Malaysia under lockdown but now Malaysia is under RMCO that will start from 10th of June until 31st of Ogos

Always be prepared, thats the scout's motto. Better to have everything in order and not needed. But yeah, from what I've seen so far, Malaysian Immigration are always smooth sailing, you know what I mean? I dont know who've been telling you all those stories but they are not out to get you. Not like some other countries, with corrupt officers who are actually out to get you. As long as you follow and respect the rules and regulations, you should be fine. Have fun and stay safe.

The immigration are quite humane. Actually they are quite nice. A few years ago, I missed to renew my maid's visa because we were tied down in the hospital to take care of my late son. Weeks after the funeral I realized OMG I forgotten to renew her visa and went quickly to the immigration with the maid and my son's death certificate. I expected thousands in fine or my maid in trouble. At the counter, after listening to my situation and looking at our docs, the officer left to see her supervisor. Moments later she returned and said, "it's ok, we understand" and just issued me a minimum fine instead and renewed her visa.

Happy to hear that things are working quite well in your favor. It is better to be very prepared with the necessary documents, copies of the documents and some money for certain fees and charges. Anyone would be very worried too if they were in your position. It was just lucky for you guys because this country is Malaysia. As a Malaysian myself who had travelled to some countries and experienced dealing with the immigration, when I compared my stories with other similar stories from my Malaysian friends overseas and other travellers, I believe that Malaysia is unlike any other countries in this world in terms of many things. It’s difficult to explain this as short as possible but I think that as long as you are being calm, patient, friendly, honest, good mannered and following the laws and procedures of this country, Malaysians despite of who they are, will always try to help and sort you out through any difficult situations. In fact, they will probably go for the extra miles just to help you out no matter who you are, what nationalities are your from, skin colours, religions and what knot. Some people from other countries abuse the kindness and the generousity that Malaysians have shown towards them and used it for their own selfish reasons. Malaysians are fine and welcoming towards everyone who come in this country, just don’t break our trusts towards your country because it will affect other people from your country who are coming to Malaysia in the future (stereotypes). On a side note, since I saw you guys in the video walking around Putrajaya on such a good day, you guys should’ve enjoyed more seeing the lakes, the greenery view, and the many beautiful architectures of the buildings there. It feels so calming and relaxing to be there. Unless you’re sweating a lot just by walking! 😅

bear in mind, malaysian also have been in their home in the last 3 months. So u can expect massive crowd in tourist area, even hotel in langkawi got 1000 booking in an hour after the RMCO announcment. In social media, certain group of people are getting ready to go holiday or to return back to their hometown (parents house) especailly in kelantan, terengganu. Also because of social distancing, the flight, bus, ferry capacity can only fit up to 50% of max seating. Thus u may see some high incur of pricing as well.

FYI there's no need to extend the ordinary 90 days social visit pass as long as the MCO is in force (August 31st as of now) plus the 14 days grace period to exit the country. It has been confirmed by immigration officials and this can also be found from an official FAQ at the immigration website. However, if you do the extension at the immigration it will be valid only until it's expiry date and you have to leave the country regardless of the MCO period.

Sorry about your stress over the possible harsh cross examination. I'm glad you have been treated well by the officers as they usually do. I'm pretty sure you could stay the entire RMCO period in Malaysia until 31st of August. (Unless the government announce something new within this time). This is what I heard when my aunt of Singaporean Nationality made a call to an immigration office herself. Making a visit to the immigration office actually put your case in a spot where it may shorten your trip here. Hope you guys stay on and travel around Malaysia, now that it's possible after June 10. Look at these 2 celebrating the RMCO announcement haha: kzitem.info/news/bejne/wouBs5ygjqVqh34 Cheers!

As far as I know, in RMCO from June 10 to Aug 31, you guys should be able to stay for this period of time and if I'm not mistaken you can get another 14 days grace period beyond that.

How did you find out that during RMCO people with expired social visit passes can stay? I am in the same situation. My social visit pass expired June 12th. Are you saying I can stay until August 31st?

@@joshsilva9807 I have seen videos of other foreign vloggers commenting about the their visa situation. As far as i know, you are allowed to stay until Aug 31. You could check with the immigration department for confirmation.

Hi guys, my advice for you is to prepare all the necessary documents just in case. In general, some of the officers they have trained themselves to deal with these situations. They might be more strict if you show no effort in preparing some supporting document in your application. But in this case however shows that the letter is not required. All in all, i believed the biggest hurdle for you is not the Immigration, but more on to flight availibility. Anyway goodluck and stay safe. A side note, "the sky is pissing" expression is a bit vaulger for some Malaysian viewers but yeah, its just we don't like something dirty being described pouring onto us. Hahaha..

"Please note that there should be no expectation that Visit Passes will be extended due to the COVID-19 situation. The Malaysian Immigration Department strongly encourages all visitors with expired passes to depart the country as soon as possible. There are regular flights to the UK from Malaysia." - Check the British HC page on Facebook - news in on 16th of June.
