Love the aerial work, but all I see is an eyesore, what are the authorities doing to Malta, it did not look this bad in 2000, there was still some heritage to be seen??

Hi there thanks for your feedback. It has been turned to a concrete jungle and over populated.

My mother was determined to go to Malta for her 85th birthday; unfortunately, her birthday was early February! We stayed in a big hotel on the Sliema promenade, near the municipal swimming pool on the rocky shore. We experienced a big storm with the waves crashing up onto the promenade! Despite this, I was able to see quite a bit of Valletta and got to various archaeological sites, and to Medina, via the local buses (very good service). A beautiful island, and I would have loved to see it under blue skies. I am sorry to see so much heavy development; the charm of the island was the old architecture and historic sites, not blocks of cement apartment buildings. But I think a lot of the Mediterranean area is suffering from overdevelopment. Very glad to have seen it, and hope the old culture does survive
