Mooli Ki Sabzi
Prep time - 10 mins
Cooking time - 15 mins
Serves - 2
Ingredients
Radish, medium (मूली) - 4 nos
Red Radish, optional (लाल मूली) - 2-3 nos
Radish Leaves, chopped (मूली पत्ता) - 2 cups
Mustard Oil (सरसों तेल) - ¼ cup
Heeng (हींग) - ½ tsp
Ajwain (अजवाइन) - ½ tsp
Green Chilli, slit (हरि मिर्च) - 2 nos
Salt (नमक) - to taste
Turmeric (हल्दी) - ½ tsp
Red Chilli Powder (मिर्ची पाउडर) - 1 tsp
Chaat Masala (चाट मसाला) - 1½ tsp
Method
Wash and peel the radishes. Cut them into dices.
Heat mustard oil in a pan. Add heeng and ajwain. Let them splutter.
Add slit green chillies and diced radish to the pan-season with salt, turmeric, and red chilli powder. Sauté them for a minute.
Now, add the chopped radish leaves to the pan. Stir well. Mix everything thoroughly.
Cover the pan and cook the sabzi on low to medium heat for about 10-12 minutes or until the radishes are tender. Sprinkle some chaat masala.
Once the radishes are cooked, remove the lid and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes to let any excess moisture evaporate.
Serve hot Mooli Ki Sabzi with roti or paratha. Enjoy your nutritious and flavorful dish!
