I used a C330F Professional for years until I lost a couple of very big jobs because my equipment wasn't "professional enough". I sold it and bought an RB67 and that never happened again. Solid, excellent camera and I liked it.

Great video, I looked at the Bronica SQ system and opted for the Mamiya C3. Mainly the advantages of the C3 is that the lens is completely manual, there is a problem with the Bronica that if the battery fails half way through a roll of film, if your not concentrating the shutter will default to 1/500 second. Also the Mamiya has a B setting on the lens for longer exposures, the SQA doesn’t it relies on the T setting on the lens, the SQAi does have a B setting but costs more. The only disadvantage of the C3 is that you can’t apply graduated filters as you can’t visually reference the graduation. Lastly the Bronica has Depth of field preview which is useful but if you’ve been doing it long enough you can guess the focus depth to a point. The C3 is a great camera, mine was manufactured in 1964 which makes it older than me and It always becomes a topic of conversation when I’m out using it. 👍🏻

I've been using these since 1979... I'd put the 80 mm lens against a Hastleblad!

Awesome to see another analog Channel come up especially one that is good at explaining the gear. I'm shooting a Mamiya m645 and a rolleicord. I have a few medium format related videos on my channel as well. I do think I'm your first subscriber

I used to have that kind of camera until I got rid of it because I couldn't get the flim and processesing chemicals anymore although it was a good camera while I had it and would recommend it to anyone interested in medium format photography and can still get the film chemicals and paper for doing the job yourself

never seen such a mint looking C330! in your opinion, would it be possible to remove the shooting lens (not the shutter) and screw it on another TLR camera, say a Minolta Autocord?

I just bought a Mamiya C220 plus 55mm, 80 mm, 135 mm and 250 mm lenses at the biggest photoshop of Europe. The body and lenses had their CLA. The shutter of the 55 does not fire. The rest of the lenses have rotten apertures. What to do ......?

Macro filters do not excist. Macro optics are suited for photography at short distance ( +/- ratio 1 : 1 ) Macro lens ( = close up lens ) ca be mounted at the front of any normal, tele and zoom len ' to focus cloer to the subject. Close up lense diptru +1 +2 etc + 10 Leitz, Zeiss. Schneider, Minolta etc make close up lenses
