Nice do you develop everything yourself? All digi here, I use a 5dmkII & 40d which has worked for what I mainly do, weddings, concerts / events, portrait work.

FYI the SD back for the RB67 have the slot for carrying the dark slide same as the Rz67. I love the RB67, the mechanical precision is just awesome. Great videos well though out. Keep em coming.

13:57 It is NOT digital-ready. Same as with the RB67, you would need a digital back adapter. The RZ67 Pro IID is the one that is ready for a digital back. And how often does the battery run dry? And how do you keep the battery wet so it doesn't? haha

go to keh and buy their bargain stuff. Get a 120 back, a pro s camera body with waistlevel, and a 90mm sekor c lens. The 'best' lens is determined in relation to the shot. If you're shooting people, a 90mm or 180mm will do. You could go shorter for landscapes. 90 is a good starting length, but 50mm is the most expensive I could find. Get a C lens even though the KL lenses are 'better' and newer. Your kit can range from 300 to over 1000. depends on what you want to shoot. Long live film.

Since there is no self-timer on this camera, I gather that if I wanted to shoot a self-portrait, I could do so with a cable release, right? I enjoyed the video.

I have a Mamiya M645. Just so you know, you can find those 6v camera batteries for really cheap on amazon. The batteries are basically the same type of battery that dog bark collars use. I got a 10 pack of the 6v batteries for like $10.

Thanks for the great vid. Are you still using this camera? How has it held? I'm looking into one now but I'm concerned with the lack of repair shops. Many will work on RB67 bodies and lenses but refuse to work on any RZ67 equipment. Probably due to electronics? Cheers!

As I understand the longest shutter speed in this camera is only 30 seconds in B mode, but you can use T mode on the lenses to make it longer (shutter operates mechanically and remains opened until you fix the lens knob back from T mode to N mode). Am I right? Thanks!

Hi, I do have a "stupid" question. Is it normal for the lens blade to stay wide open no matter what aperture value I choose? If I press down the preview aperture lever the blades will move and also the light in finder will be different. Othervise the blades are just staying wide open. I don't have a film loaded and I never had. I just bought thr camera and I'm trying to find if it's an issue with the lens or not. Thanks

A lot of film yes. Mostly 6x7 and 4x5. NO digi backs though, too expensive for a pretty diminished return. I had a friend with a Digi Hasselblad, and I never really dug it.

it's not that heavy.. i shoot with a RB67 PRO S and i carried it with me on really a lot of mountain trips.. i started a mountain photography project 2 years ago and the RB67 with two lenses and two backs + tripod and acessories came along with me on every single trip.. most of them where 8+hours trips of about 20km on mountain terrain.. if i used it for that i think it will suit well the art of street photography ;-)

I feel the need to reply to you. This camera will lose over 90 percent of its features if there are no batteries in it. Personally, I hate cameras that need batteries. Reminds me of life support. It can shoot at 1/400th without a battery but that's it. The back is motorized too so get used to needing cheap batteries. It will die once or twice a year and its always when youre about to take shots. I brought it up a mountain and the camera locked up. It was a horrible day. Long live modularity.
