@Insta Tingles Their territory is my territory also. I'm an animal walking the planet too. I carry a gun, but I don't want to kill a bear. On the other hand, I don't want a bear to kill me. Therefore, when I'm walking through the mountains (I live in the Yellowstone region) I try to be aware and avoid confrontations. It's bound to happen sometime, but bears don't understand that I mean them no harm so I need to be ready to defend myself. And for the bear spray proponents, it is quite effective... until the wind is blowing in your face, then you'll bear spray yourself and die or get torn up just the same. If you don't walk the mountains with grizzlies then you don't have room to judge those who do.
@cadenstuart744

For everyone thinking this bear is wild, he’s not. He lives in a sanctuary with other bears built by Casey. Occasionally they go on walks through the woods though. Casey knows these animals are dangerous and respects them. He raised Brutus from a cub and can read his body language to tell if he doesn’t want to be bothered, or if he wants a scratch. Casey has scars all over his body from a mountain lion he was walking one day, so he knows that animals can be unpredictable. Brutus was even his best man at his wedding, and has been in several films.

Even then, it's something that requires study. The best modern day study is the Russian fox domestication experiment. But also, I've heard that there is a big difference in the temperament of big cats that have been around people for generations (zoos, circuses, home "pets"). Then, there's the case of ligers; produced by breeding two different big, wild cats together. A character trait is no killer instinct. They're docile. They could still hurt you with their size but, it'd be an accident. Some people keep so-called "domesticated" dogs that end up hurting a child, so...

He's not going to give you a big hug because you're feeling down. I appreciate this guys work and his efforts, but I doubt it's love the bear feels. When some one else gets killed by a bear that he has conditioned to people, the bear's will suffer the consequences. LEAVE WILD ANIMALS ALONE ! Many comments about how this man will get killed by the bear. They have a family bond. It is love in it's purest sense. He would have to cross some serious lines before that bear would ever hurt him. Comparisons to Timothy Treadwell and his love for bears that got both him and his GF killed is simply unfair. In TT's case he had the delusional belief that he could talk with and reason with any bear. He entered the territory of a highly aggressive bear known to be territorial. In human terms that would be similar to someone else saying 'I know people, deep down they are all good at heart!' then moving yourself into the house of a serial killer with your GF.

One of the times when I was in a plane in Alaska, the bush pilot and I saw a brown bear on top of a beaver mound working on breaking into it. The pilot asked me if I wanted a closer look and I said, "Yes". So he buzzed the bear. Have you ever had a plane buzz you, from only a couple hundred feet above? The sound is really LOUD! Well, that bear was so intent upon what he was doing he never even looked up. Leo Ix is right. Stay away from them. They're extremely dangerous animals. I knew a guy up there who had one of them try to climb onto his boat, trying to get at his dog. He was able to shoot and kill it before it got to them. The bear ended up a rug in his house.

I loved this video. I watch every bit of footage i can find on brown bears. I study the katmai bears. They have unique personalities. I think this bear (Brutus) is a kind personality. God's rest for Timothy Treadwell. But, it is not the same situation. Carry on.

Five ether densities are defined by units of motion. The fifth and densest the parts making up planetary life; the 4th is planetary life. Everywhere you go your liver goes with you. Each liver cell performs 620 functions all the time. Everywhere the earth goes we go with it; the 3rd ether density deals with inter species communication, we share the elemental kingdom. Jagadis Chandra Bose, Indian Physicist knighted in 1917, proved plants were sentient, connecting the elemental kingdom, Nature and Nature's God, as our Declaration of independence speaks. The sun travels 876,000,000 miles a year taking the earth with it; the galactic second ether. The primary ether is all neutrons are linked, uniting the lower universe. Your video is a beautiful example of how dimensional anatomy interfaces with five ether densities.

Coupled with his raising Brutus since he was a cub I believe, is what makes Brutus gentle is who this bear is as an individual. Not all animals are the same some have a deeper response to love. Brutus is unique.

There are only a very small number of animals that have been domesticated, and for good reasons. Bears aren't among them. I'm all for leaving them alone, if possible, but keeping one for whatever reason is always risky. Even a zebra will kill you if it has a mind to do so. It's because they do not share the same amiable social traits that donkeys do - even though they are in the same family. Bears represent what might be the pinnacle of animals that are not suitable for keeping. They have little social contact with other bears or any other creature, and they are top predators. I think they allow us near them in captivity because they are smart enough to k now that we are of benefit to them. But, they are also smart enough to reason, and change their minds.
