Seriously, what the hell is wrong with the instructor? Your student went down in obvious pain and you quite literally kick him when he is down? I'm all for hard style training. But there is being tuff and then there is this. Very bad example for those kids. Hope the assistant guy wasn't too badly injured.

Brown belt here 2:19 that kick was completely uncalled for and he clearly broke his leg from tripping the first time, screw the "Kyokushin Spirit" put your ego away and call an ambulance, if you think this is acceptable for a teacher to do then you really got issues, this PERFORMANCE cuz that's all it was is an embarrassment to Kyokushin as a whole, such terrible sanchin and ibuki (breathing) for a black belt and I'm a lower rank but that's the least of my worries, I feel so bad for the students.

The Kata is supposed to be Sanchin. That heavy breathing is ment to be Ibuki, a breathing technique very common in many Karate styles. Though I must say it does seem to be properly done as well as the stance and body tension.

Already showing signs of discomfort in his right knee 1:44 . Something like this could only come from twisting it before the video. I do Muay leg impact conditioning and this doesn't look like it had anything to do with getting hit with the shinai. This is a stretch, but the guy might be left-handed (he scabbarded the shinai to his right which is strange). If he's left-handed, he might also be a left-leg dominant kicker. If he's lefty kicker, he would be used to bearing weight over the right leg. See in 2:13 his left leg slipped. This puts a down-weight on his right leg bending it at a very awkward angle.
