Yes. It's important to forgive yourself first for holding on to any emotional attachment that created a disharmonious relationship between you and another which led to a traumatic experience which causes physical dis-ease if not corrected. I think it best to dissolve our "issues" on Earth so as to not take them with us. We must learn to forgive just as God forgives us. We have suffered enough. Sri Romana Maharshi said you take care of yourself and let God take care of the world. Let God do his job and have faith.

Yes! Thank God for each and every moment of our experience on this planet. Every moment presents opportunity to learn, experience, understand, forgive, surrender and release those things which bind our soul to darkness. We, after all, have complete freedom to choose our experiences. An important and infinitely valuable aspect of our freedom is our ability and total right to choose our level of conscience awareness. We chose to come here for experience, to learn, to grow and to Love. Quiet the mind. Open the heart. Look deep inside. Discover and illuminate every experience. Expose the results of trauma and fear, the things we’ve been afraid to face, what we've chosen to hide there. Examine, understand, accept, forgive and release them. Everything that is not love. The doors to heaven then swing open. The arms of infinite love embrace us. We experience heaven, we return to our home.❤

At 10:50 the angel states that the reason he suffered was partly because of ignorance, fear and fear of survival. So, we are put into this world, and then all knowledge is hidden from us (ignorance). Our nature is to be fearful, and everyone is struggling to survive. So, we are intentionally put into a situation that will put us into a state of consciousness that is hell.

Your right and there's many evil establishment's who know this and keep us in slavory mode. They use us to work, to steal our taxes, lie to us with what taxes are used for so we keep giving it to them. DC is owned by foriegn land who also run the federal reserve banks who keep us in this state. The irony is that we have put ourselves in this situation not someone else. We are a spark of God (soul) we come to earth to experience all kind of experiences in duality. Our purpose is to rediscover who we really are and recreate who we are in every moment. The challenging moments and life situations are the times when we do the most growing as souls hence the reason why we choose them and why we choose to forget who we are. it is quite magical when you see it for what it is. We are also very brave souls.

This NDE resonates with me more than any I have ever heard, possibly even more than that of neurosurgeon Eben Alexander, which I also found to be quite profound. Particularly noteworthy is Benedict's description of how to "let go and surrender". What has previously for me had only been an abstract concept was now described in a real and pragmatic way - forgive everything and everyone, be grateful, Love my life - all of it, the good and the not-so good. So again, thank you.

I agree so much with your message here, heart felt words. Thank you for sharing, God Bless When i was writing poems, i realized i wrote them in' no time' at all: 47. IN TIME It is in Time we do now reside What we do with our Time we each decide. When Time is measured on an Earthly scale Only hours, days, and years will prevail. But when Time is viewed as a tool for us to use We see before us anew path to choose. In each existence there is work to be done We must realize we are created to live as God’s Son. For in God there is Unity we can learn from In His truth and beauty we must entirely succumb. For in giving into God’s will He will show us how To understand there is no Time, only Now. In Eternity there is no yesterdays or tomorrow’s Nothing that could ever create sorrows. When we unite with God as One Then we can say our Earthly work is done. 9. NOW IS THE TIME The Love of God It heals the heart It gives you a fresh new place to start. It cleanses the body, It renews the mind It provides you with thoughts not easy to find. For it’s in our thought we create our tomorrows Complete with happiness, joys, and sorrows. Tomorrow is someplace far away Now is the time to plan for today. For today is the place to start To find the Love of God in your heart.

The brain is designed, configured, and programmed in such a way that many thoughts and emotions are automatically triggered. There is no choice in whether that TRIGGER fires and instigates a thought or feeling. Of course, we can try to counteract the initial thought or emotion, but sometimes it's extremely difficult, if not impossible, to overcome. For example, the mental illness of PTSD. The point is that, TO SOME DEGREE, emotions like fear or sadness get initially perpetrated upon us, with us having no choice in the matter. Before I was born, did I design my own brain? Did I program my own brain with the ability to feel fear? Who is the creator, designer, and programmer of the human brain? Unless I designed, configured, and programmed my own brain and mind, then I am not the one in total control of my experience. The question is, "How much control do I have over my own brain and mind, and therefore, how much responsibility do I have for the thoughts and emotions that influence my life?"

We create our own realities through INTENTION, not random triggered thoughts that come from the brain. We are not the brain. Not all thoughts are powerful. What creates is the thoughts that have intention behind them, aka thoughts that we WANT to think. It is through intention good or bad that we create. God cannot create without intending to create. I hope that helps :)

@@stargirl3972 I agree that we are not the body or the brain, but a soul having this material experience. And you make a good point about thoughts with intention and no real intention. I intend to eradicate all evil in all of existence for all of eternity.

Alan, you articulated that well. I don't think you are wrong because I've had the exact same thoughts before. It's foolish to listen this entire video and then create a fairytale thinking you chose every event in this life and "create our realities" entirely - there are programmes given to us from our outer environment. It's like Bruce Liptin says, babies until the age of 7 are in a state of hypnosis and pretty much a blank state without a developed conscious mind that can discern between what we want to accept or not. It does seem like the game is rigged before we even get here. With meditation and realizations we can free ourselves though. I can tell you from experience it is entirely possible to change both your mind and brain - I used to be quite tearful, an annoying trait I didn't know the root cause off - probably some childhood trauma I can't remember. Anything could make me tear up and it was embarrassing. With meditation it has gone away and I'm so much more level headed. No extreme moods and I didn't need to be medicated and I definitely wasn't insane. It was just something I brought awareness to and eventually my brain and mind adjusted themselves. I watched my thoughts and watched my emotions and learned to control them. There is another strange happening I observed in my own life recently - my sister and are very close but we don't get along. We really came into the world just having the two of us. It's a long story but my sister suffered a lot of mental anguish and lashed out at me because I was the only one who cared. She made my life hell and took so much from me and almost pushed me to the point of suicide. I had planned my suicide but in a very uncanny series of events which can only be called a miracle, I didn't even get the opportunity to attempt it. Anyway after many years of bitterness and such a horrible relationship, I did the only thing I could do - turned to meditation. I couldn't change her and my options were so very limited to leave so I just turned inwards. It was slow and it took a long time but as I changed, she changed. It was the most bizarre thing. She does still suffer with some mental health issues but her improvement is remarkable. She's not so cruel and abusive. She doesn't meditate, doesn't do anything really to help her own mental health but she didn't even have to - when I changed and let go of resenting her and I stopped being angry and her victim, she changed. She is still changing and improving. The more love I radiated to her, the better she got. I guess once we know that it is possible to change then it is up to us to do with this life what we will. It's not easy and it's not quick. I don't think life is a test, I think we come here to experience many different things from the horrific to the sublime. I suppose being more aware and accountable for our own minds and bodies is about all we can do - to make conscious choices instead of knee jerk reactions. I don't think we'll get it right all the time but I don't think that matters. We all share a consciousness and everyone is affecting each other so I don't think life is 100% in our hands but I think what always matters is how we deal with it. We're all going to die anyway so how important are the things we stress about or get angry about anyway? I'm no superior being who can state "truths" but in my experience just understanding myself is enough to make me a more pleasant human - the more I understand myself, the less I judge others; the more kind and accepting of myself, the less likely I am to be mean and strangely enough the more I can love myself, the more connected I feel to God.

These are all extremely valid and critical questions. What I've come to in my mid-50s is self-compassion and self-forgiveness after 30 years of doing every type of intervention I could find to "fix" myself so I could have a functional life. Now I just do the best I can to be kind to myself and others, and know that I was *always* doing the best I could in the face of my sensitive nervous system and my overwhelming "freeze" and "fawn" trauma responses. In general, people are just doing what they know how to do. I never managed to manifest the love and belonging I sought in the world, but now I devote most of my time and effort to helping others keep the love and belonging they've found after tremendous adversity. And I try to do the least amount of harm possible. I believe I may have come down to this place to experience grief and learn compassion.

Leonardo da Vinci said "The greatest deception men suffer is from their own opinions " Plato shared with us wisdom he learnt from Egypt, wisdom that was a death sentence in Greece, Rome (Christianity)..Pythagoras, Socrates and later Hypatia of Alexandria. Plato in his dialogue "The Republic " tells the parable of "The Cave " Plato starts by telling us of prisoners being held in a underground den, let us examine this den via the geometry of Bernhard Riemann and Felix Klein..Klein bottle..3rd and 4th dimensions. Plato tells us that the prisoners are bound up unable to move their heads, let us examine this bondage via the psychology of Erich Fromm..socialisation of consciousness..aware-unaware. Plato tells us that the prisoners mistake shadows for substance, let us examine this mistake via the philosophy of Thales, Hume and Kant..synthetic a priori judgement..not thing in itself. Plato tells us that one of the prisoners is released, let us examine this release via the wisdom of T Lobsang Rampa..stilling the mind and conscious astral travel..leaving the cave/body. Plato tells us that the prisoners will reject this release, let us examine this rejection via the psychology of Stockholm Syndrome..Plato quotes Homer..forgive them for they know not what they say. Men are not prisoners of fate, but only prisoners of their own minds.Mathew 23 13 31.

I have seen the first part of this story, almost word for word, but I was far too afraid to even speak. I was not alone but I was unable to even look up for fear that my companion would not be light. The next thing I knew, 2 days had passed in the hospital and I was alive. That was 5 years ago. I still am unimpressed by this life, and that scares the crap out of me, because I know it is going to happen again. No matter how hard I try, I can't find anything to be thankful for. I feel forced into this skin suit, and I am not sure I believe there is a way out for me. If we do, in fact, build our own reality, I have somehow managed to mess up so badly that I can't even face my own conscience. I can only hope that hell does not last much longer - because I am pretty sure I am already in it!

You are not to blame for the suffering in your life. You did not "manifest" your suffering because you thought it into existence. The people who say this are insensitive and thoughtless. We can't control what happens to us but how we react to what happens. Just stay strong and find someone to talk to about how you are feeling. Don't keep it all inside or isolate yourself. Find something you enjoy, something to distract you when you start to feel overwhelmed. Whatever you do, don't do anything stupid if you know what I mean. This is just what I think, what I do, because I feel the same way you do. I wish you happiness and hope you find your way.

In NDE literature, it seems that the minority of negative accounts happen to people who host punishing, often religious, beliefs. It's always possible to exit said scenario. Dorothy's conversation with Robert Schwartz on Oct. 28 addresses this very issue. Imo, he does a good job of explaining how/why people choose certain experiences. (Hint: they're constructed before we're even born.) ;^) Peace.
