I know that 13 is a very young age but if she is really suffering please tell her to see a doctor. I have to say the way people reacted is really understandable because in Chinese culture periods are not taboo like they are in the west. Women are really open about what they deal with and I’ve seen that men are actually incredibly chivalrous and are taught how to take care of their girlfriends. At first I felt kind of uncomfortable with how openly it was discussed but then I realized that was actually just my cultural conditioning. Definitely something to be learned here

The Chinese people are very respectful and sensitive, most people underestimate the Chinese people and say that the murders are too much, but this is out of the question.
