BRAVO!!! Being an American, and almost the same age as your guest today, I just happened to stumble upon, and then watch your show for the very first time, I am PROUD of you, as should all of India!!! For a young man, you had the WISDOM, and also the LOVE for your Country of India, to have the foresight and courage to have such a brilliant intellect such as Rajiv Malhotra on your show. I was so impressed with both of you, I am a new "Follower". Both of you made India PROUD during this episode for sure!!!

What a preposterous, ludicrous and irascibly irresponsible decision! You should focus on going abroad, garnering the required skillsets, cherishing a high standard of life and then consider "building India". Even PM Modi was not able to change the country's fundamental roots, despite having a tall mandate, due to systemic rot and unprecedented corruption....Where does that leave folks like us then?!

25:07 He’s right. Indians don’t have that nationalistic sentiments to return back to the country with commitments to use their intellectual and skills to DEVELOP & PRODUCE something for their country of origin. We Indians are very short term pleasure oriented and tend to be very materialistic to explore the above mentioned aspect. Chinese on the other hand are fishing back all their scientists who go abroad for studies, to come back home and work for their country. I won’t blame the government in this, but would blame that mindset with which many colonized Indians are raised with. Hope to see a change in the present and next generations.

@@leibert6320 First the foreign oppressors did this and then their eulogizers repeated the same after 15.08.1947. This self hatred and life long (in fact it continues generation after generation) compulsion to live with a inferiority complex is deep rooted into the society through organized academic, economic and political system. Including the poverty. It’s like the matrix movie. Indians are like Neo. Yet to understand their full potential. It is very hard to break the shackles of this matrix. Forget about breaking it or acknowledging it’s presence, many even fights to defend it and are happy in it. Time will tell who plays the Neo who would lead the way.

The main reason is that when NRIs who return to India in the hopes of doing something for their motherland - whether forming a NGO or for entrepreneurship - get trapped in the cesspool of Indian bureaucracy and corruption, and mindless paperwork. They feel like they are being punished by their country for doing good for them. No wonder small and medium Indian enterprises are closing down and every year lakhs of India migrate out of the country. And those same Indians do fantastic work when they go out. There is no hope for the country unless corruption and bureaucracy is reduced.

Ranveer, at many instances in your shows, you keep saying that 'it' ll be discussed in detail in Hindi version'... I'd like to hear them in this English version too. I believe many others would loveit too. I recently started to follow your shows. Superb. Amazing and super informative. Really appreciate your efforts

Lol brother. You said Dharmic religions. Dharma means eternal law. It's Nature. We are Dharmic Cultural Civilizational People. Hindus, Sikhs, Jains Buddhists are Dharmic. Not Religious. Religion is shallow concept made by shallow people to terrorize others and conquer by Terrorism. Bible says non-believers will burn in hell. And depicts non-believers as sub-humans. Quran tells to do G---haad against Non-believers. Dharma means eternal law. It teaches how to make nature elevate your life and experience in sync with nature. Dharma is for Entire humanity. We worship Feminine, nature, animals, Rivers, mountains, trees.. Dharmic scriptures doesn't have any dogmatic concept of religion.. it doesn't even have word Hindu. We(all dharmic Cultural people) were added into religious Category by colonial powers for their convenience..and they made it part of their Bureaucratic system. And that's why European Colonial Secularism allows Islamic G--haad to spread at expense of righteousness and protection of native culture and heritage. Because it was invented to distance away churches from politics bcoz Christianity depicts non-believers as sub-humans.

The philosophy of Dharma is an anti-thesis to the ideology of religion which is political and destructive. Religion is Adharma. Don't abrahamize Indian values, identities and Dharma, that will corrupt our knowledge and history.
