You know what I would love to see more of? Biological women competing in traditionally feminine activities. What is so bad about that? Marie Kondo, Martha Stewart, and others are icons in those fields. I'm not saying they should only be barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen. I'm saying that there should be more honor and pride given to those who make delicious meals for their families, those who make houses into comfortable homes, being a good mother, and so on Those are not easy or simple things yet they're scoffed at. Most people can't coordinate a room with a suitable color palette while also keeping it welcoming, comfortable, and functional. Hosting a dinner party (or a sports watching night or poker night or whatever) is a skill. Selecting appropriate decor, picking snacks and food that's not messy or cumbersome, cooking that food to be delicious, arranging everything in a nice way, etc. When done right, it's a work of art. Look at mothering. Kids are little humans who make big messes, have emotional breakdowns, and seem determined to accidentally hurt themselves but mothers clean them up, calm their stress, keep them safe, etc. My point is that women have so many skills and talents yet they look down on them for no reason I can make sense of.

I know I am rambling but I want to provide examples. My family has board game nights. My wife is a great hostess. She greets the guests with a warm welcome, offers food and drinks, etc which enables me to run the logistics side with set up, understanding rulebooks, explanations, ambient music, etc. She has decorated our home beautifully. Nicely painted cabinets which pair with decor items.

Thank you for your kind and beautiful words. I remember in the 80s and 90s how people scoffed so bad at stay-at-home moms and homemakers so much. I remember hearing some adopt the term 'domestic engineer' which I get for resumé purposes. When I was in school kids made fun of me because my mom was a homemaker, but she was awesome at it. She made delicious food and the most beautiful clothes. I remember other working moms who came off to her so coldly because she wasn't part of 'the workforce, but her work enabled my dad to go out and work, and he always came home to the comforts she provided, warmth and a hot meal for his belly. It was a team effort. And they made it work the best they could. Thanks for that much stability, parents. I'm so thankful to have known that experience.

@@noorexistsmaybe exactly! Her Not having a menstrual cycle still makes her 100% woman. But you see how this also justifies her experience as a woman? Only women can experience a menstrual cycle and only women who are supposed to have had a menstrual cycle knows how that feels not to have one. All women are supposed to menstruate eventually it’s apart of puberty. However trans women not menstruating doesn’t put them in the same boat as non menstruating women. Trans women are not supposed to menstruate. This is the point.
@noorexistsmaybe

@@NAprincess324 they're still women. menstruating isn't what defines a woman. being a woman is something that you know within yourself and not necessarily biological. biologically, yes, a female is defined as someone who can carry children, however gender is separate from sex. being a biological female doesn't mean you're a woman and being a biological male doesn't mean that you're a man. biological sex cannot be changed, whereas gender can be.

@@Sebastian_Michaelis I'm trans myself (non binary) and I can explain this bit: it's hard to look in the mirror every day and see that your feminine parts (or lack thereof) don't align with how you feel on the inside. hormones and surgery help people feel more comfortable in their bodies, just like people who get plastic surgery for cosmetic reasons. we don't like something about ourselves so we spend the money and get the treatment so that one day we can look in the mirror and say "yeah. I finally do feel at home in my body. I like that I don't have a feminine chest or I like my lower voice. I feel like myself on the outside just as much as on the inside." it's extremely hard to explain gender dysphoria to someone whose gender aligns with their sex, but the best explanation I can give is that it helps to cure the disconnect between how we feel about our gender and how others perceive our gender based on appearance. (this might be a horrible explanation, it really is hard to describe, so if this doesn't make sense I'd recommend looking at some websites that explain it better than I can) also, a quick note, tons of trans people never medically transition. the idea that someone must medically transition is called transmedicalism and is extremely harmful and untrue. tons of trans people don't "fully" medically transition either. lots of trans people only do hormones or only do surgery (and it doesn't necessarily have to be both top and bottom surgery either).

But you were a child. Religion only applies on grown adults, not children. Children are free of sin. My family is very religious but my own brother used to steal my dresses and makeup to wear and all we did was laugh at his antics. Because he loved doing it and we let him have his fun. Now that he's all grown up he understands that he shouldn't, and honestly he doesn't even want to, dress like a woman. So he understood the importance of God's teachings without us forcing them on him.
@Nov_Net
2 жыл бұрын
@@chimchimsjamkookies4242 no, religion is a broad heading. "Religion" can refer to almost anything. It seems Jason came from a Jewish or Christian home so children being free from sin is not entirely true. Accountability comes with knowledge and children become accountable for their sins according to that knowledge. Additionally, if making you say prayers, carrying you to church etc, is "forcing" religion, then everything a parent does can be considered forcing. Children are forced to go to school, forced to go to bed at a certain time, forced to obey their parents. Parents usually make children do things because it has their best interest at heart. Including religion. When the child is independent and doesn't want to partake in religion, then the parents cannot make them, but that is as long as their independent.

@@Nov_Net why should children be accountable when their minds are not fully developed and they have no consciousness of their actions? And there's a clear difference between forcing and encouraging. My parents did encourage us to pray and fast during Ramadan. But they were never harsh when we didn't. I was an atheist for a few years during my twenties and they accepted my decision at that time and loved me as it is. This accepting and compassionate behavior is what brought me back to God's path. Set an example and children will follow your teachings without any coercion.

Check out "The Red Pill", a documentary by another biological woman, Cassie Jaye, who ends the film with the statement "I no longer call myself a feminist". Also, read about "The Equal Pay Act Of 1963". In addition, there's a book called "Why Men Don't Iron" by Anne & Bill Moir. Most "feminist anthems" were written (&, in some cases, originally performed) by men. As for "Jeopardy!", I'm inclined to believe that the whole show has become rigged.
