I just watched a video on Zune Wharton, the one person carjacked. They were just following Ryan's high speed chase on the news right before getting in their car and going to work lol. Then apparently minutes later, completely fell for the carjacking attempt lol. Come on, Zune, get it together. You were just watching dude's reign of terror on TV! Deadass there’s a whole thing you have to go through before you can even get paid. You have to have the subscriber count, a certain amount of views, and then you have to have ads on the video that make up to $100 in revenue (which takes a long time) before you can even get paid. I tried to get one of my channels monetized.

@@nymphohalo Right now, it's a lot harder. You need 4000 watch hours or so under 1 year. There's a way to cheat the system of course, but I'm not sure if it'll work anymore. This makes me more conscious about my own monetization. I got it back when KZitem didn't have dark mode or so, I think.

When you commit dozens of felony's Judges have options to make you server it consecutively. I think his showing of no remorse and the conversation with the girl was enough to make sure that was the case. Many times something like this would be served concurrently so usually the years for the worse offense with the longest sentencing is the guideline.

Remember, if he did get a lighter sentence for his crimes, he wouldn’t clean up his act, he showed no remorse and took pride in what he had done. Most likely if he got a lighter sentence he would have ended right back behind bars after seeking to top his 90 minute rampage with another rampage.

If he got away with it, he more than likely would have done it again and would have spawned imitators who wouldn’t be deterred by a theoretical reduced jail sentence. Yes people have gotten away with more, but that doesn’t mean he should have gotten away with this either.

The lady he was talking to was a reporter for a local news channel. He knew that going into the conversation. He should have talked to a lawyer instead. The inconsistency with criminal sentencing is absurd. This was a horrible crime, but murderers and rapists get far less regularly.

I still remember this chase as a kid in elementary school. The really crazy thing was that day me and my mom were in the car to go to school and work, listening to this on the news. Then we see about 4 cop cars rushing down the street on the intersection. Only 2 blocks from there the man was arrested. I will never forget that day.

A kid in my hometown robbed like 20 stores over the course of one summer, escaped the police on motorcycle multiple times and then finally in a chase with a helicopter following him he drove his bike into a swamp and attempted to hide from the FLIR (infrared camera on the heli), it actually worked. When he got caught he said he got the idea from the film predator when arnold covered himself in mud to hide from the predator.

Ehhh. Before he even said that I was already thinking the cops were completely reckless. I mean take a look at 8:09 and you see the cops throw spike strips straight in front of innocent drivers when the car they were targeting was totally out of reach. There's much safer ways to go about things and the obvious one is to track him with the helicopter and make him think he got away or wait til he moves to an area with less traffic to get out of the area.

If they weren't chasing him he wouldn't have wrecked that car in a desperate attempt to get away. Pursuits are extremely dangerous and the criminal is usually quickly caught later anyway, so why put innocent lives at risk?

My dad drives a Camry and got in an accident with me in the car, I just felt a slight bump but the other car basically was completely ruined. Seeing another Camry take that impact like an absolute champ (a.k.a. not vaporize) just shows me Camrys are built better.

Could have been due to unintentional kidnapping. If he knew the kid was there then it could have been a bigger charge. But if the intent was to steal the vehicle only, and by chance the kid happened to be there, thereby not knowing the child was present in the vehicle prior, it was a leser charge. It sounds like he had no idea about the child in the car. That's how I see it anyway.

🤓 There's multiple definitions for the word antisocial. Yes he used A correct way to say but it's not THE correct way to say it. As in not the only correct usage. Also, the word innocuous doesn't really apply here. Innocuous means not harmful or offensive.
