I’m 67 and have a broken ankle! I got a scooter too and also live in a small cape cod-bedroom is upstairs, tv room in the basement rec room. I’ve been stuck of my sofa in the living room. Luckily there’s a bathroom on the main floor but no bedroom. This is the best video I’ve seen to get me back into my own bed and downstairs to watch tv again. Thanks!!!!

I have to thank you sooo much for posting this, I have not been able to do crutches at all, I'm very unstable on my feet now I only have a foot since my ankle is broken. I had been trying everything except your method I watched and studied your video... I screamed "I did it" when I successfully descend and then assended my stairs. That was my biggest feet and keeping me stuck in the house . Sooo thank you VERY much ♥️

Thank you so very much for this. My mom is almost 89, broke her ankle and the rehab is sending her home in a week, knowing she's not done any stairs because her doctor doesn't want her putting weight on her injured leg yet, but knowing there are stairs in the home. I've been in a panic wondering how I'm going to get her into the house. I'm pretty sure she can do this. Appreciate it so very much!

This is amazing. Broken ankle, non weight bearing, wasn't able to move home due to stairs. I can scootch or crawl up the stairs, but I couldn't figure out how to get back up to my walker easily. Your method is so wonderful and I won't have to buy anything more!

Oh my gosh, this is great! I'm a very large lady, facing up to 3 months non-weightbearing after foot surgery. I have been very worried about how to do up n down the 10 stairs to get into/out of the house and the staircase of 25 stairs to get to work. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Thank you so much! I have so many stairs in my house! I have a kneepad for my unfinished basement stairs because the basement goes into the garage. I am able to get to work and come home and get up the stairs then I can go up and get a shower whenever I wish. We don't use my shower chair like that but the step stool helps me stand up at the top to use my walker.

That’s exactly how I’ve been doing stairs. I on the other hand have a knee walker on both levels. I just sit on the knee walker with my good foot on the last step. Then bring my good foot up. Then stand and put my knee on the walker. I’m 62 and healing from an ankle fusion.
