Sorry Jonny, after 30 seconds I had to switch off, as the music was driving me crazy. Is it really necessary?

Sorry to hear that Joe, I’ll try to keep it at a lower volume in the future. In the intro I normally have the level a bit higher but for the main part of the video it shouldn’t be to loud. Appreciate the feedback anyways and hope to see you back in the future!

That's a like, thx. Is there a credit score in Spain/EU that we should be working on? Also openbank has a couple of credit cards, which is the best to use?
@MillennialsWithMoney
Жыл бұрын
Thanks! There’s no publicly available credit score that I’m aware of, however the Bank of Spain for example has your credit history on record and it might come up when applying for a loan/mortgage etc. I’m aware of the OpenBank credit cards but I wasn’t personally interested in the offers and think there are better credit cards out there. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the video. Did I understand correct that if I use the investing through the local Spanish bank like Santander I do not need to fill the tax form manually, but it will be done automatically by the local brokerage?
@MillennialsWithMoney

Thanks for watching! Yes - any investments you have where the investment account is domiciled in Spain (e.g. with Santander in Spain) should appear automatically in your online draft in the declaration for the tax year.

What if you live in the USA and want to open a account from there ? Is that possible? I’ll be visiting end of year and in 5 years looking to move but want to start saving and holding money in that account
@MillennialsWithMoney

It’s very difficult to open an account without physically being in the country, however some of the banks (e.g. BankInter, Santander) offer expat services which include Spanish bank accounts for non-residents, so that might be a possibility. You can also use a service like Wise to open a multi currency account and hold and spend euros but it won’t be a local Spanish account. Hope that helps!

@@MillennialsWithMoney do I have to live there to open up the account? What if I travel to visit would that be good enough? Where i can walk in the bank And get a non resident account
@MillennialsWithMoney

@@fivestar000 you can give it a try whilst visiting at one of the banks mentioned in the video, explain your situation and some of them may be able to help you to open an account as a non-resident.
