What do Manchester United have to do with trains? This tutorial gives a background to how the club was formed, tells you about the Busby Babes and explains name changes.
Big Football Clubs presents tutorials about as many clubs as possible. We begin with a series of videos explaining the origins of the twenty clubs of the Premier League 2023/24 season.
Some clubs started out as church teams, others as schools. Some have work-related origins and are related to the industrial revolution in the nineteenth century. All the clubs have come a long way and many are now internationally recognised brands.
We start with the story of the current champions, then we work our way down the division based on last season's final positions.
Our videos come out on Thursdays, and more will follow, looking at their badges, success and a whole host of other matters central to each club's story. Let us know in the comment sections which clubs you think should come next - teams from the lower divisions of England, European teams or teams from beyond...
