Yes one of the best. Unfortunately those "protected offenders" are still happening across the US Government systems. Maybe one of the better newspapers should do a repeat story.

Not really because Leo's not extorting any benefits for himself in exchange for withholding the information. It's definitely a morally grey area, but I would say it's nothing compared to the hypocrisy Leo's keeping in check by using this information, in my humble opinion 🤷🏼♂️

While Leo's ostensibly doing this for the right reasons, he's somewhat of a hypocrite himself; given he went into treatment for addiction to pills. True, he didn't distribute, but he'd had the records of it all sealed so that nobody would know, and the only reason anyone found out is that someone on his staff leaked them out of a misguided sense of justice.

Leo had not been arrested. All of these staffers were connected to a member of Congress whose family members had been arrested and then given sentences far below what they should have received.

Being an alcoholic and addict isn't a crime. Selling 31 grams of cocaine is definitely a crime.

@@FriscoCatshark Addiction in and of itself isn't, but the actions that feed those addictions very much can be: that's why things like DUI is a crime and why possession is as well. I get that you want to forgive Leo because he's from a show you like, but this is hypocrisy to some degree.

He acknowledges this earlier in in the episode. "It's exactly the right thing to do." "From anyone but me."
