My friends and I had the pleasure of meeting Mandy in November of 1995, in Toronto. To cut a very long story short, he treated us to a show when he found out that we couldn't afford the tickets. My friend Michelle is disabled and he asked me to lift her onto the stage after his curtain call. He sang "Children will Listen" and then gave her a big hug and kiss. That was an experience we'll NEVER forget. What a lovely guy he is!! :o)

Still has the pipes I see, respect to any man with the balls for stage performance. Odd his career remained slightly below the radar of the "A-List" one of many VERY talented people who never really got the respect they worked hard to deserve while other "less respectable talents" selfishly absorbed the spotlight in their place.

getting tickets for his concert at the kodak la. seeing mandy perform has been a dream of mine for years! my daughter made my other 2 dreams come true (itzack perelman play the violin and michel barishnikof dance live) this is my christmas present. My whole life i have done theatre, acting and directing, and there are very few that admire as much as this man. i am so excited, and only hope and pray that he sings this song. since this concert is just him with his piano man, i can hope!

Maybe he was just having an off day? I met him at one of his London shows in January, and he was so kind and polite, and made sure everyone who wanted an autograph got one, though he was clearly pushed for time. He strikes me as a gentleman, who can be moody sometimes, just like the rest of us!
