I was carried onboard my first Crown when I was 5. It was a specially designed Crown that was built and operated by the Pasadena Unified School District, bus that transported disabled students. The bus had a hydraulic lift in the rear, clamps to hold up to 14 wheelchairs and an engine the sound of which I will never forget. They turned this bus into a motorhome! It made me cry.

Love watching these videos. Always cool to see these buses being driven “like you stole em” by an expert. The sound these engines make and the coordination snd skill of handling shifting, pedal, clutch, air brakes while steering a 40ft+ amazes me. 👍👍

Aquí en el país el salvador a esos buses les modificaban el motor caterpillar 3208 también el 250hp y eran chivos cuando su motor era caterpillar.

I don’t use the clutch much at all. Exception is 855 Cummins 10 speed. I seem to need the clutch to downshift

I can tell. I used to teach people how to determine exact shift points. Works better easier to get get out of gear.

Use the clutch for smoother shifting and less wear on the clutch bearing and plates.
