Great review, do you prefer the aluminium or carbon version. I would have thought the aluminium being heavier provides more stability if shooting outdoors?

I typically want everything to be lighter , but when I tested out a lighter Ulanzi carbon fiber trip for video work it moved to much in the heavy wind. I haven’t tried the Manfrotto carbon version so it’s hard to say but I’m very happy with the stability of this aluminum model, strikes a good balance.

what a great review! (there were definitely some funny bits in here--in a good way)...this tripod has some really useful features and it looks so compact (for travel)! I loved seeing video of you out in the field working as well. so cool!

I’ve been travelling across Asia with one of the earlier Befree aluminium tripods and I just love how light and small it is. Sometimes I wish it had a couple more features, but on the whole I’ve been quite happy with it.
