This is an excellent illustration of how changing one component in a cocktail can create a different drink! I built my bar partially by looking at what I had and seeing if there was a new drink I could make by adding just one or two new ingredients, be it a unique syrup, new liqueur, or base spirit. Frequently I unlocked several new drinks simultaneously!

Just an idea similar to this video: I think it would be awesome if you did a short series where you picked a country or region, i.e one video could be italy or France, and just basically do a crash course in cocktail history for that country, with a similar format to this video. Maybe a little more history, but just throw together 5 or 6 classic cocktails related to the particular region.

Nice trip! What I actually see is the Martini in the centre (the cocktails in the middle - 3 & 4), with the close relatives at the left (1 & 2, where whiskey replaces gin and we still have booze-only drinks), with more distant relatives on the right (5 & 6 are actually Daisies). This journey reminds me of the Cocktail Codex book, which sits next to me while I type this reply, which also teaches us there are (just) 6 fundamental recipes. And the fun is you can switch from one to another by replacing 1 or 2 components. Coming back to the video - 3-ingredients cocktails served up are my sweet spot, so thank you for the show!
