Several opposition leaders, in the motion of thanks on the President's Address in Lok Sabha, slammed the government over Manipur Violence. Inner Manipur MP from Congress party, Angomcha Bimol Akoijam said the government had been a "mute spectator" on the Manipur violence for over a year. Leader of Opposition, Rahul Gandhi asked the PM why he hasn't visited Manipur ever since the violence started there in May 2023. TMC MP Mahua Moitra also slammed the government for not stopping the violence in a "burning Manipur".
