You know what? Colin Firth would make an awesome next Doctor in the style of Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker, preferring politeness but not bound to it. He does such a good semi-restrained berserker-guardian here with that overtone of veneer-thin civility, but still honest about his true nature. It would do the franchise some good to get back out to that visceral edge of the barely-constrained madman who is trying to be nice, despite his inner urgings that he doesn't really regret. Let it be upon the heads of the oppressors that they fail! The new Doctor series has only really flexed that dimension in the story of the Family when Tennant gave them each an ironically fitting fate, totally cold and without remorse, and at the start of the episode with the sick dalek where Capaldi described Clara as having feeling so he didn't have to. For such an old warrior, it would be a fitting level of practical dissociation instead of all the pubescent self-torture that is too-often the norm for the show.

Nearly, the only thing that doesn't make sense is the first punch of the fight. The guy swings at Harry and he doesn't even move (you can see the fist connect), but the swing continues going until he punches the guy to his left strong enough to knock his tooth out. Even if he dodged the punch, why did his swing go far enough to reach his left side and knock his friend out?
@TOONYBOY
4 жыл бұрын
Nvm. Had to play it at 0.25 speed to see it but he pushes his hand with the umbrella. Still doesn't work though as the guy that got punched was in fact behind him and not to his left so even though his fist was pushed it's far fetched.

Sploosh. 2) “manners make’th man” I mean Jesus as he locks those doors while speaking sternly of proper behaviour holy shit my ovaries yes we need more badass men who act like gentlemen and kick the asses of those who don’t 3) the asskicking. Kingsman agents and Statesman agents have their own styles of fighting. The style of the Kingsman fighters is based on the gentleman martial art known as Bartitsu, a hand-to-hand combat form that takes elements from other forms such as Judo, Schwingen, Boxing, Canne de Combat, and Savate, while the Statesman style is more randomized, based on not only the bullwhipping and roping techniques of the wild west, but also on brawls, IMHO.
