one thing i like is that there are none of that terrible keyboard music blaring from big speakers, like they have these days.

I was in the village of Tau in Manua in 1998, a place similar to the islands of Tokelau where I came from. I learned a lot of similarities between during these people's lives and our life style and behaviors.

Manu’a is referred to so much in Samoan oratory, people from Upolu & Savaii view Manu’a people almost as mythical beings from ancient history 😂

Am. Samoa was damned the moment the last Tui Manu'a signed the papers, handing over all rights to America. How the mighty have fallen.

We're under the American flag so what? They have blessed us in many ways. The US ain't all that, but I'd rather have a future in living than surviving like most of you.

Pacific 2 Da Rim, Manu’a is not the entirety of Am. Samoa. There is also Tutuila, which signed first - four years before Manu’a did. The thing is, it was a smart move, as Am. Samoans don’t need a visa to go to America and live their as long as they like. Also, Am. Samoa is protected by America.

?? Manu'a also have their own flag day and flies the flag of the Moa for the Moa atoa. Samoa's only flag for thousands of years. First spotted by Europeans on a va'a tele in the deep blue sea in 1622.
