Man, not many with highlights like his. Finish like Mj. Pass like Magic. One of the most charismatic and fun players to watch. Totally underrated. He on my all time team.
@thebeerhunter98
Жыл бұрын
Manu legit might have the best highlight reel of all-time when you combine the passing, clutch shots, finishing balls out reckless drives to the basket, posterizing defenders, freak/clutch defensive plays, and making some of the best athletes on planet earth look downright puzzled on how to stop him from doing whatever the fuck he wants. I truly believe he’s a top 5 all-time SG and outside of Kobe, he was the best of his time in the league for the bulk of his entire career at the position. He arguably sacrificed more individual accomplishments and accolades than any player ever, when you look at his actual stats vs what anyone who watched him over the years knows he was capable of. He was, along with guys like Bird and Magic, the consummate team player/winner.

I saw Manu live in 1998, playing for Viola Reggio Calabria against MensSana Siena, in Siena, Italy. First three plays of the game: he gets three steals and makes three dunks, one of which reverse. I was 11 year-old. I still remember it like it was yesterday. Nobody could believe what they were witnessing. He looked like a martian compared to all the other players, and he was probably the youngest dude on the floor! Thank you Manu for 20 years of greatness.

Does anyone else get that sensation of seeing something so great it makes you cry? No shame in the truth over here that Ganobli is without a doubt the best 6th man to play this game.. saying that James Harden is like him is totally wrong.. Ganobli and his beyond crafty wizardry and play making is hands down one of the best I've ever seen in the league.. The man is the only one EVER to win championships on all levels NBA, top EURO League and a Olympic Gold metal with Argentina... Yet you don't hear nothing about this.. everyone has there choices and opinions but Manu Ganobli is in my top 10 of all time.. I give credit when credit is due and he definitely deserves waaaaaay more recognition then he's getting

Ginobili with long hair in that glorious 2005 title run. Now almost ten years later me now at the age of 27 after everyone dogged ginobili and told him to retire after the dissapointing 2013 finals Manu gets redepmtion and puts on one more brilliant finals performance for us. Now old bald and a step slower he still finds a way to put on last brilliant performance for us. and it brought tears to my eyes. He was never Jordan or Kobe or Wade. A true baller in the most fundamental sense (he integrates a lot soccer footwork from his Argentinian background into basketball I believe). A weird combination of shifty athleticism, unique non-linear footwork, Gold-standard passing, and pure clutch genes, Pop always trusted the ball in his hands in the final minutes of the games even when he was close to retirement. Every time Manu touches the ball in front of the opposing bench the players are probably thinking "not this magic bullshit again" 🤣. My favorite is 1:01 at the Rockets bench after that no look to Splitter.
