Hmmm! Makes me wonder if you want the Challenger/Fendt so you can go into the Honey wagon hauling business. :) Back before the bottom fell out in the mid 90's hogs where big in the Clinton County Ohio area. I worked on a hog farm that had around 2400 head of hogs. I used an AC 7000 tractor and a Better-Bilt 2600 honey wagon to inject the manure in the ground. I learned a lot of valuable stuff on that farm. I graduated High school just before the bottom fell out. I use to work ground in the evenings with a JD 4650 fwa and a Deutz Allis 9150 FWA tractor. I thought I was on top of the world with those tractors back then. Around that time frame the farm got an 8960 JD also. They got out of the hog business not long after I graduated. As much fun as I had there I knew I had to move on if I wanted to make some money so I could buy some of my own stuff some day.

I have heard of spreading it on thick, holy cow that takes it to a whole new level. Wow that dealer was loaded up with equipment. The city where i live use honey wagons to knife on sewage in fields near the treatment plant. Nothing on that big of scale. They pull them with CASE IH quads. Neat video.

What’s your opinion on it? I’m looking into doing it also. Young kid getting started thinking it might be a good way to build some equity and possibly be full time.

Thank you for asking ... Typical ag deal - you get the quote for the equipment and crap your pants ... lol ....... with the laws today - it requires certain applicators - which require certain tanks .. and cost goes through the roof - and theres no profit margin ...... modern ag - either tiny scale and old used equipment - or you have to be huge .... I'll try to get more info on this in a upcoming video ... Numbers i ran - you can build your soil up - but to actually make any $ is nearly impossible .... bottom line - ag work / commodities are to cheap
