Never met Jamie in person, but watched most if not all his videos. He seems so comfortable in front of the camera. He has the knack of putting his ideas and thoughts in such an easy way to follow. In my opinion he is a fantastic ambassador for our sport. Hopefully one day I might meet him on the bank, and be able to personally thank him for making me a much better angler.

Always good and honest..I would say. He is the best person in getting hisideas across. Started to buy some of the float patterns and shotting used in other vids. When i get my new pole though not a map i will buy and elasticate with map elastic how he demonstrated in a previous vid. Going lighter and giving yourself more options. Nice one Jamie

Great video. I ordered an f1 shalla kit 3 weeks ago, contacted shop today because it has not arrived yet. They contacted Map to be told they will not have any for another 4-5 weeks.

Nice to see you again doing what you do best ! I was just writing this while still watching and you said the wind had picked up which makes even short pole/line fishing a little bit more difficult but you tend to hook even more as you nearly always have a tight line. I have most my top kits white ish colour now, what's your thoughts on this and do you use them? .......

When learning to shallow fish would you recommend starting with a longer tip to float length? Currently struggling to fire in pellets and hold the pole stable with that short line.

Most places the rule is the float is not over shotted, obviously you will need to check local rules if you're not sure.

(Carp x crucial carp) ... a small fast growing carp .. only grow to a few pounds usually but can go a bit bigger (mayb 6 lbs or so) .. best way to tell is see if the fish has barbles ... f1s dont have them like.

Hello Jamie. You are right in what you say about the F1's population in the fisheries in the north west compared to other fisheries across the UK. Don't get me wrong I know that there "are" Commercials Elsewhere That Do Stock Them But Well Known Bagging Waters Like Where you Are Today Are So Well Known. Don't you think that so called Ghost tops (or sprayed) make a difference in shallow fishing? 👍.. . . .
