Excellent review! I agree with the issues about their triggers and gun accessory pegs breaking. To be fair, even Marauders GR recognized their first series of 1/12 weapons were undersized, they said future weapons would be scaled better with Marvel Legends. I think the first of those was the Tavor, Lugar, UMP, & KSG Shotgun. The issue with the scale of Marvel Legends, Action Force and Classified, is that they're all scaled to about 1/11 or, in some cases like Roadblock 1/10 scale. I've compared pictures of real world weapons with the Marauders weapons in my figures hands and still think the majority of Marauders 1/12 guns are under scaled. I don't have any of their bladed weapons so I can't comment on the scale of those. By far the best are Mark 2 Toys guns, they scale perfectly, don't warp and the Magazines aren't terribly undersized like Action Force, it's just that they need to be painted. That said, I still really like the Marauder's Tavor and how affordable it is to outfit most of my Cobra figures with them. The Tomahawk is new, I can't find that on their website, I hope this shows that Marauders is willing to expand their 1/12 offerings in the future.

Thank you for watching! I've never seen the Mark 2 Toys weapons. I might have to check those out! After I opened the tomahawk, I did go back looking for it, but you're right, I didn't see it anywhere on the 1:12 page. Just a knife, katana and wakizashi. I'm half tempted to pick up the katana and see what it's about because it looks HUGE in the photos. Although to be fair, they did put it in the V1 Scarlett's hands, and she is a small figure. With as much as they have for 1:18, I'm hoping the expand out their 1:12 collection as well!

These might be the best 1/12 weapons on the market in terms of price and quality. Only issue I have with them is the pegs for the attachments. I just krazy glued the laser and sight on mine. The Glue didn't help the foregrip at all but I glued a M203 Launcher I cut off a Marvel Legends AR and glued it on and it's still on there to this day. I wish Mauraders would make more 1/12 weapons because I think they are great, they just need to make a few tweaks.

Thank you for watching! Once I got used to the somewhat delicate nature of the pieces, I actually REALLY got into these weapons for my Joes. Stalker looks great carrying the 6R and I love Shooter with the SOPMOD marksman rifle. I think I'm going to get their other 1/12 weapon pack and see how that works out. I also just recently picked up a Little Armory M4 model kit. I'm looking forward to seeing how that works with 1/12 figures.

@@BrickIntyre Little Armory are really cool, but they are to small for Classified and other 1/12/ 6 inch scale figures. They say they are 1/12 but they skew under it. They aren't bad with female figures with smaller hands and such, but they look really undersized in the hands of male figures.

Aaw man, that's a bummer. I was hoping the M4 would be able to replace Desert Rat's. I like how the Little Armory M4 has the collapsed and extended stock options. I'll probably just get another Marauder's M4 now.

Hasbro has gotten better with their guns. With GI Joe, I never had a real issue with guns being oversized. Usually it's that they are undersized. Especially the length of pull. Notable examples are Recondo's MK14 rifle and Stalker's M60ish machine gun. Those are both way to short for the figures to shoulder correctly. The Valaverse M16/M4/AR15 rifles are all slightly oversized, as is the Scarlett M16.. They look fine in the male figures hands, but their size is a little more noticeable with the smaller framed females. I'd guess the receivers of those guns are more the size of an AR10 rifle, which is a 7.62 NATO instead of the 5.56 NATO. Still, I think they look good enough. One thing I like about Valaverse M4 style guns, is that they usually have the buttstocks extended. Hasbro has a bad habit of molding the guns with the buttstock collapsed, and it makes the length of pull too short to accurately pose the figure with the gun shouldered. The only thing that look weird about the Valaverse guns is the magazines. The mags are sized about right, but the oversized receivers cause the magazine to look too small for the magwell. Gridiron's M16/M4/AR15 rifles are usually too big. It's not as noticeable on flattop rifles with optics mounted, but if they just have a carry handle it's more obvious. Again, I think they look fine with most figures. At least their magazines look normal when inserted in the magwell. I honestly think the Marauder Gunrunner's guns are the truest to scale. I know their SAW looks tiny compared to the Valaverse version, but SAWs are not that big in real life. Honestly, an M4 is smaller than what a lot of people would imagine. They look tiny when they are unadorned and don't have a carry handle or optic mounted. The best part of Marauder's is the price! I need to pick up a few more things from them. Being a gun guy, I've actually took the time to compare some of the Valaverse guns to my real firearms. Nothing exact, just eyeballing the size of a real magazine, or AR receiver compared to my hand, and then doing the same with the Valaverse mags and rifles and an action figures hand. Same with some of the pistols. Aks and MP5s are usually way oversized. They are both pretty compact guns in real life. The Valaverse MP5s are huge! Anyways, I know it's pretty nerdy, but when you've spent as much time with guns as I have, you notice things others in our action figure community may not. In the end, none of this is much of an issue IMHO. Most of the accessories are close enough for government work. If the gun looks cool, I use it with my figures. For the most part, Hasbro, Valaverse, and the third party vendors I use all do a decent enough job. Hope you found my insight worth while. Keep up the good work. Your channel has quickly become my favorite. No drama, no rambling, good camera work, and great commentary. Thank you!

Like I said, having never fired, held, or even seen modern assault rifles in person, I have zero basis for comparison. Just the old school M16 and that was a number of years ago. But I have to admit that when I've seen pictures of stripped down M4s, I was surprised at how compact they are. Almost sub-machine gun levels. Reminds me of a modern take on the M1 Thompson, especially with the straight 9mm mag. And as far as Valaverse having the extended stock, I didn't even notice that until I started looking for replacements for Desert Rat, that nearly everyone has the stock collapsed. There's another company that I think is sized the same as Marauder...Little Armory. An import company that all their weapons are mini-model kits and their M4s come with the collapsed and extended stock options. The only trouble is each weapon is like $20+. But they do look cool. Eventually I'm going to get one just to see what they're like. I am genuinely surprised about the SAW. I knew a guy that carried the SAW for his squad in the Gulf, and the pictures I saw, I didn't think it was that compact. I really did think the Valaverse was the one that was sized closer to real. In the end, what you said is true; does the size really matter as long as it looks cool? Absolutely not. I just brought it up because I have heard so many other channels comment on the sizing of their pieces. Meanwhile, that decked out 6R looks fantastic in Stalker's hands. And you're right about the price! That's the main reason I wasn't too upset about missing the magazine for the M4, it's only like $2 bucks to get a new one. I'm going to pick up another one of those and a suppressed CQB for Tunnel Rat. Thanks for that last part too! I appreciate it.
