In January 2024, we visited Marbella, a globally famous coastal town in Andalusia, Spain. In this vlog, we walk trough the Artola Dunes at the Cabopino beach, we wander around at the famous jet-set marina Puerto Banús, and we take a closer look at Marbella's historic old town. Where we had lunch at plaza de los naranjos with falling oranges all around us. Finally, we also visit Marbella marina where, over a capuccino and sangria, we end our day. Even in the winter, this place has plenty to offer.

Voice over Transcript:
Voice over: Marbella, a mundane coastal city in Andalusia, Spain. We stayed here in early January, and we will take you with us through a day in this city. We start the day in the morning with a lovely beach walk at the Artola dunes. A long stretched beach, that can be reached through perfectly constructed boardwalk trails, surrounded by the beautiful dunes. Officially, it is a nudist beach so keep this in mind in the busier months of the year.
Voice over: Towards the end of the morning, we continued our day at Puerto Banús. This place is known for its jet-set character and in the summer months, the promenade is a parade for rich people with expensive cars. In the winter, it is more laidback, and you can relax and have an expensive cup of coffee here.
Voice over: This marina looks beautiful and slick. If you have enough money, you can shop and enjoy your prosperity here. If you don't have enough money, it is always fun to take a look at what is possible with a lot of money. It is definitely worth a visit, when in Marbella. From the luxury in Puerto Banús, we head to Marbella's historic centre. To have lunch and wander around the cosy streets of a typical Spanish old town.
Voice over: At Plaza de los Naranjos, you will find several nice restaurants serving delicious tapas. With the oranges hanging from the trees and the lovely January sun on your face, I couldn't imagine a better spot.
Voice over: After enjoying a delicious authentic Spanish lunch, it was time to stroll through Marbella's cosy old town. The many narrow streets, cosy little boutiques, the many orange trees and balconies with beautiful flowers definitely make it worthwhile. In January, it is quiet but not deserted. The old centre stands in stark contrast to the luxury beach resorts and the jet-set character that Marbella has worldwide. The old town is lovely, and it is also affordable to eat or have a drink here.
Voice over: The days in January are much shorter than in the summer months. And it is not quite beach weather yet, which is why the video is also a bit shorter than usual. Marbella is known for its many long beautiful beaches. If we could have, we would have reviewed these for you too. We end the day in Marbella's marina with a drink. We thank you for watching, and if you like this video, don't forget to like and subscribe. Until next time at Ursus Brown Travel.
