Marc, just wanted to tell you...I was new to watching hockey when you scored the OT game winning goal in the playoffs. That was the exact moment that I realized that hockey was fucking awesome. Now I play hockey myself in women's league, and I have number 91 just because that was the day my life changed.

I saw a season ticket holder your first year with the bruins and me and my father used to go down on occasion to Ristuccia Arena few times a year mostly during pre season. We had the chance to buy a pair of your gloves from them at one point. Super cool custom pads along the fingers. You certainly had a way with gear. I assume you added the pads because you got your hands hit a lot in the face-offs? Speaking of hands and face-offs I'd like to think you are a big part of the reason for the current rule about not being able to put your hand on the puck during draws. You were the king of tying the other guy up and then putting your glove down and pushing the puck back with your hand. Glad to see you doing a gear series. I personally love to see your take on things relating to the game.

Just want to say Hi Mark just looking at your site here on you tube after you mentioning it on SN1 talking to my Fav guy on the Leafs today Nazm Kadri but being a Clark fan forever as a Leaf fan forever as well......Any way the reason I am writing in here is about the taping twigs. Me being born in 65, I want to mention another fav player Patrick Kane actually tapes his stick exactly the way I taped mine. And I find that so cool that someone as good and important to the N.H.L.as he is, copies me....lol cause I am older then him.....kidding Kane......Just to say Mark I am now going to be a follower of your site!!! Awesome and nice to see ya . Ray Pierce

Here's an idea that may bode well for Savvy, one of the best puck handlers, vids of practicing stickhandling with ping balls balls. I think Doug Weight did it, as did others. Seems that if you can control a ping pong ball with a hockey stick, one can develop a fine touch with the puck...
