Most music written today for early experimental films is "cheesy" because it is written for the films' audience (primarily academic) more than for the films' esthetic. The composers are limited to a "contemporary" mode of expression that doesn't really resonate with visual works that, however avant-garde for the 1920s-30s, still strongly evoke their era.

@KCling aesthetics is very subjective dude. i have no issues with your comments here as a matter of fact i understand your way of being honest. calling be a douchebag and calling others masterpiece a crap depends on the psychological state of an individual through experience. thanks a lot for your time watching.

I could translate the text but that would help you at all, the sentences are kinds of french gibberish puns, there's an translatable one that says "we can offer you a tap that stops flowing when you don't listen to it" funny isn't it?

I realized the whole thing is petty. Your comments don't offend me and it all becomes a game. This is why I retracted my comments. There is nothing to be gained and I have nothing to prove to you. Express your opinion, it's a free country.
