@@kimnovak301 The real reason she got let off was Cindy Anthony changing her story and lying about internet searches. 1) She called 911 and said it smelled like a dead body had been in the trunk of Casey's car (and clearly there had been because George said it did and the police did as well). Then when she got to the police station, she changed her story to say, "Oh, it was just a bag of trash that had been in the trunk, I said the dead body thing to get the police out to my house quickly." Well, why did she need the police quickly if she'd recovered the car and nothing else was wrong? Jose Baez jumped on that in court. 2) The other lie was she "accidentally" searched for "chloroform" when searching for "chlorophyll." She claimed the dog ate bamboo leaves from trees in her yard and got sick, so she searched "Chlorophyll" on the computer and auto-correct put in "Chloroform." Bamboo isn't toxic to dogs and her work records confirm she was at work when the search was done. She lied, lied, lied - now where did Casey learn to lie, I wonder?

Jeff Ashton, a highly regarded prosecutor in Orlando published a book follow g the trial/verdict candidly discusses the characteristics and background of the jurors. He was not impressed with their ability to think critically, integrate information or comprehend circumstantial evidence and arrive at a rational conclusion. I think they were not collectively intelligent and afraid to introduce an opposing viewpoint for fear of being judged. None were leaders, so they were a group of easily intimidated followers. The community was outraged, with good reason. Justice was not served and Jose Bias, the defense attorney lacked integrity. Attorney Cheney Mason who assisted Bias has a reputation for being sleazy in and out of the courtroom.

At least charge casey with gross neglect to a child. 1. “Child” means any person under eighteen years of age not otherwise emancipated by law. 2. "Gross neglect" means reckless or intentional conduct, behavior or inaction by a parent, guardian or custodian that evidences a clear disregard for a minor child's health, safety or welfare. 3. Her partying was well documented as well as her many lies. She just got tired of having the responsibility of taking care of the infant. She was too arrogant to give the child to her parents to raise, so she decided to kill her.

Eric Fical how, when, who did it, and where did Caylee die? Answer me these questions, please. If you cannot answer them, then it’s because the case against Casey wasn’t proven beyond a reasonable doubt. We all know our version of what happened. But, it wasn’t proven beyond anything else. Caylee was a skeleton when found, so no toxicology could be used, it’s too late for that. Chloroform, is used in many glues. Especially, glues that are used in car manufacturing to line the floor wells and trunks with carpet or vinyl. Hair banding, can happen to a hair from a living head, in humid conditions. See? It’s not as easy as one thinks. The prosecution did a weak job by using unsubstantiated new forensic tests, instead of laying on the massive amount of circumstantial evidence that probably would have gotten them over the line. The prosecution left wiggle room for Baez to create reasonable doubt. And, there was absolutely no DNA to fall back on.....try making chloroform. It isn’t as easy as you may believe. And, Casey was no chemist. We know that Casey is responsible, but responsible for what? Murder one? Manslaughter? Accidental death due to negligence, or negligent behaviour? We really don’t know! Legally, the jury did the only thing they could do given the limited choices offered by the prosecution. Morally, Caylee didn’t get any justice, and it’s extremely sad.

You have to have evidence beyond a shadow of doubt to convict and you have to know exactly who committed the murder and how. Because this family was a damn mess with their lies and changing of stories, etc...it led to question weather Casey killed her daughter, if her father did it or if they both played a roll in it. They had no concrete evidence weather she was intentionally murdered or if she died by accident and it was a cover up. Is it an undisputed fact that it was when only Casey was home? I remember Baez said the search took place when they thought it did, when this news came out. I always wish I knew the truth in this case. Nothing was ever completely explained. I still don’t feel we know how or why that baby died.

People have a desensitized feeling toward death these days. A child is the most precious gift and I wonder how he would feel if someone said that after his child was killed. We all were angry over Caley's death. That hosts comment was uncalled for and repulsive.

Glad to see Marcia reviewing this case because if there is one thing that Marcia is good at is losing a high-profile case.

The other searches on the internet looks like she wanted to kill her parents not Casey which is confirmed by her telling a friend her parents were leaving her the house and did they want to move in with her. Did her dad find out from searching the internet history and being an ex cop set her up whether he killed her or she died accidentally due to what he found. If her dad did abuse her as a young child that explains her strange behaviour and why if he threatened her she would keep her mouth shut, just one theory. Maybe that's why the dad wants nothing to do with her now and her mum still wants a relationship as in the back of her mind she believes her husband did something but.

The way she non-chalantly brushes off the jury letting Casey get away with the premeditated murder of her 2 year old by saying “it happens, but juries usually get it right” is extremely disrespectful to Caylee. Just bc you think incorrect verdicts are comparatively rare doesn’t make it any less of an injustice.

Marcia Clark had legal & licensed associates, the investigators from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the detectives, police officers, forensic pathologist & state corner and members of the community gather the evidence to convict OJ Simpson and she set OJ Simpson free. The glove that OJ Simpson was made to attempt to put on was demonstrated as a manipulative acting role for OJ Simpson to act out. Just like acting roles he portrayed on one or two TV programs. As for Marcia Clark's interview comment on what was amiss on the acquittal of Casey Anthony, she takes the credit for figuring out what had been already discovered that could have convicted Casey Anthony after the verdict. Go figure on world wide internet Marcia Clark was given the chance to project that she solved the case. The evidence was there provided by the coroner and forensic medical examiner. Marcia Clark is a irresponsible troll, her catty giggling along with Natalie Morales & guest co-host Scott Evans recorded saying, "I almost reached for the popcorn." Was socially unacceptable on public access and all three expressed no respect to Caylee Anthony's death resulted from being savagely killed & disposed of. I'm strong from working in a children''s post surgery hospital department. I witness many atrocious & horrifying inflicted injuries to children by their own parent(s), foster-parent, other family siblings, trusted family friends & associates but not as terrifying as the coroner and forensic medical examiner reported that was found on 3 year old baby Caylee Anthony bodily & deadly injuries. May you all be safe, take protective cautionary health measures against the Corona-virus (Covid-19) and avoid protesting if at all possible, stay where it is safe - at home.

Any parent who finds their baby floating in a pool would freak out and scream. The neighbor was outside doing yard work. He would have heard something if she drowned.

It was terrible Casey got away with murder…unreal! Casey needs to pay for what she did to her precious little girl, Caylee. To hear this man say, “this is getting good..” was completely inappropriate. I am glad Marcia Clark digs deep to investigate some of these horrific cases. I hope justice will prevail eventually.

i think jose came up with the molestation claim. i think he talked it over with casey and she agreed then he talked it over with her parents. i think this is why you dont see her father bat an eye when jose makes those disgusting claims to the jury. i dont know how he was able to make the claim about the pool with no evidence. those jurors seem so cold and unapologetic about not finding her guilty. like they just cant figure out why everybody is so upset about it.

Interviewers “crime junkie” and the other wanting to “reach for popcorn”. Caylee is not your muse, she was an innocent child who deserves your respect and journalistic integrity. This is an appalling “trailer” for the benefit of Marcia Clarke’s show…..I used to think more of her as well. She of all people with her new face lift I guess has also lost part of her mind in the process.
