Marcus Gunn Jaw Winking Syndrome is a rare form of lid droop or ptosis.
This is Marcus Gunn Jaw Winking in an actual patient.
In 1883 Marcus Gunn described a girl with an usual form of congenital ptosis. The syndrome is characterized by a winking movement of the ptotic eyelid with movement of the jaw. In this case, as others, a video is worth a thousand words! This patient has an awesome example and gave us permission to share this video with others so we all can learn about this rare condition.
Go Rosanna! :)
