Marduk to this very day still "rules" very worthy of their 50 legeons. Through all the riots, lawsuits, boycotting, etc. They have pulled through it all very strong in my view of it all. And like live bands they remain strong and very relavant to the times. Still seeing a big future for them. Their next I think 14 - 15 release I expect to be one of their best, with them revisiting their earlier recipe. Cant wait!

@Robert Demon I "discovered" Black Metal through them earlier this year and have been on a streak of insane music ever since. Randomly clicked on Light's Bane in my recs and since I've been a fan of Melo Death and Death Metal in general since I was 12 it instantly clicked. Although I've been a Metalhead for most of my life, I only listened to very little BM so far because it never "clicked" until now. Boy did I know what I was missing! I already checked out the Marduk adjacent bands (Funeral Mist and Triumphator) too and this is quite literally what I want if I think of Black Metal.
