Her set at Healing Appalachia was transformative. She gave her valuable time and energy to entertain us and to bring awareness and funding to prevent addictions, overdoses, and suicides in Appalachia. She's amazing.

I love Margo more and more. one of the best albums of the year (and it's too bad her songs don't reach more of the Nashville mainstream -- and the country audience that needs to hear them)

The problem with talking about gun control is a sizeable group, funded by a powerful lobby, making exorbitant profits, isn't concerned with our lives. Life liberty and the pursuit of happiness only includes the last two.

Taking hallucinogens doesnt cure alcoholism. Taking hallucinogens can, if done right, can help someone resolve issues that lead people to need alcohol to survive. Trauma, neglect and abuse, if unresolved cause people to need to suppress memories, feelings and thoughts that are painful. For many they work well. But for many people the trauma, abuse and nelgect issues are too complex for one of these drugs to help very much. If you have trouble with drugs and alcohol, seek trauma therepy. Read a book on trauma. You may be surprised that you are walking around with PTSD or even CPTSD.

Are you talking about prescription drugs, or over the counter drugs, or endogenous drugs made inside the body, or drugs derived directly from plants or animal secretions, or what? "Drugs" by itself is a pretty meaningless term.

I think it's interesting that these two are having a hard time holding a thought. Talking about drug abuse and alcoholism on drugs is an interesting way to do it. I'm not sure I can take them seriously. I hope I'm wrong and that someone can find them inspiring. I feel the womens rights being taken away but I find these two are a little flighty tonight.

I love Sarah as a comedian, but she is a terrible host. It's been over a decade since TDS has had a watchable host. It's the writers and producers who have been dropping the ball. That's who needs to be replaced.
