I live on a yacht in Panama. Moved from the ghetto to paradise. Water isnt anything to be afraid of. The system wants you to be afraid of the ocean. Water is just another terrain and scuba diving should be on everyone's bucket list. You're afraid of what you don't know, but once you know it and own it, what can beat you? 😁
@TheNonMakeupGuru

Actually being afraid is what you should be. Its natural to be afraid of things that can kill you in a billion different ways and is 90% undiscovered. People should be afraid of the ocean. They should also respect that fear.

I absolutely see where you're coming from, but "conquer" in Chinese vocabulary means that they say "It's ours", and if there's no military response, it's theirs. That's how "conquering" Chinese-style works, man. Look at Tibet, look at Taiwan, look at South China Sea. If they want that trench (not saying that they do), they'll just say it's theirs and everybody else will look the other way.

because 1) there are creatures that might be evolved enough to see or 2) there might be creatures that can smell it but their smell is not GPS so if it is in sand they cannot find it completely or 3) there can be other ways of camouflage than visual, there can be creatures searching the bottom for the cucumbers, so the cucumbers evolve into rough sand or stone like surface. jesus tens of ideas came into my mind.

The Mariana trench has always been interesting to me.

That's why, when compared to the Mariana trench, I'd have no problem going to space. You can survive if you're space ship has a leak, if your sub has a leak, you're dead. If you're ship is dead in space, there's a chance of rescue, if your subs dead on the sea floor, so are you. You can even survive in space with out a suit for a couple minutes, you'd be instantly crushed in here. Heck, in space you can actually see light from stars, the moon, earth etc. Here, it's pitch black.

Inhaler Grandma It’s layers and layers of animal and vegetable detritus that has sunk through the water column and settled; tons of microscopic and unicellular lifeforms, small fish, whatever falls into sea nearby, up on top. Some sand in places where currents stir the sediment and carry it off. The bottom will slowly turn into sedimentary rock.

Undiscovered here means that no human, or robot was there, but there is no need to be there to know how the bottom of the sea looks like, at least when we talk about elevations and depth, because we can know it using radar, if not, how come there are maps for the entire sea bottom of the earth? We were born millions of years ago. This is normal for us. Also, if you go a little further in the ocean, you'll find mermaids." but 1st of all, we can't understand fish, & second of all fish are too dumb to know that we didn't even know they existed
