Fantástica! MF é talvez a mais moderna e a mais talentosa da música jovem dos anos 60 e 70 e até hoje brilha e muito!

This woman is the ultimate music industry survivor...and, so, this is a perfect song for her. She is a legend, to say the least, and more people should learn from her example...

"Nothing lasts forever, and I will always love you." No one but Harry Nilsson could write this, and no one can sing it like Marianne Faithfull.

She went through so much. Today her voice is so deep and it sounds too rough. I feel compassion for her. I wish Mick Jaggar had not just thrown her away after using her up.

@xniquilador It's a Harry Nilsson song, so the narrator is saying that he misses his ex-wife, but he also misses the money he paid her in alimony, too. Marianne could be singing as a male character-she's doing the same in "Why'da Ya Do It"-or she could just be singing as a woman who had to pay an ex-husband alimony, not that she was necessarily in that situation herself.

Please stop singing, Marianne! I know singers in their 70s that sound better! Whiskey-cigarette voice. Judy Collins still sounds amazing.

What do you know about singing ? You think singing is like ice skating , all smooth and hitting the keys perfectly ....It's Acting ..Being the person in the story being told . Singing sweet and pretty is just plain vanilla boring .
