Exactly, my mother never understood my being drawn to Manson & his music. For a long time I just liked his kinda music but recently I've started listening to what he's really saying n for that I've started listening to all his albums n so many songs I didn't know about n there's so many. I think somewhere in me n I know I felt something from some of it when I was younger becuz now I realize how relatable it was to times in my life & me. I still remember the person that introduced Manson's music to me, first song beautiful person n I was drawn to it immediately, I was in fifth grade and the last 6months Ive listened to everything n I can't go a day w/o hearing whatever song I came across that the words get me. I love his voice it's so unique n I haven't always cared for the actual sound of some of the songs but then I hear the words n it all comes together so perfectly. N I'm like that right there is how you get n get in the head n relate to your fans, that's a true artist. When there's a song n you aren't digging the sound or certain things n then all the words are sang n all a sudden it's on repeat daily. Love Manson n I just look like a bousey soccer mom, from the outside I've got so many times how do you listen to that crap, I've never have guessed that from you.

As depressing as his music sounds some of us heal because of it. Knowing others feel like they are worth nothing with not even a parent to guide them. Being someone who was on his own at 15, had a backpack full of clothes, drugs sex and rock n roll was the dream, and I was well into the 90s metal scene. I chased myself into a corner that music dug me out of. Now I'm 35 still rocking the fuck out mowhawk and all. Life gives you the tools to handle what comes at you just need to know how to find them.
