I'd seen some clips of him performing recently where he must have been drunk or stoned and was kind of worried. Thankfully, he brought his A game that night. Excellent show

I was down in general admission and can attest to the fact that his show was freaking amazing

sadly the recording doesn't do his band or slipknot's sound justice. It is still good but no where near as good as it was live.

True. Hopefully these vids merely encourage people to go to live shows, and for those who did, help catalog the memories!

Watching this, I'm not sure he wasn't a little messed up at the beginning. Thankfully he started to come down for the second half. You can see him slowly get better/more serious about his singing throughout this show. At least he put on a good act while messed up, haha!

I was there, Manson's performances sure are not what they used to be. I guess the bar was set pretty high in my head because the last "and first" time I saw him was back in 2004.

I thought he did well. Guy's been living a giant party for years and he's now middle aged, there's going to be some wear.

To be fair even by 2004 a lot of his fans considered him to be crap by that period because he wasn't what he used to be. On it's own Merits I think this is a pretty great performance

JamesGames101 Since I posted that comment I have gone back to some more of his recent performances, and this was not a bad concert by any means compared to most of his recent concerts.

Most artists don't live in a timeless vacuum like AC/DC. They change with age. I've seen some clips where Manson was messed up on something, and that's concerning, but here, he was on point!

I want to say it was only like $55 General Admission for this particular show. I got my tickets on presale about 6 months ago though, so I don't recall exactly how much they were now. It wasn't a bad deal for some of the best bands in the history of hard rock/metal!

@lowbudgettheory

True, but he is the exact thing he said he hated and didn't like. Now, let's use someone else as an example who DOESN'T phone it in.... ever.... and is OLDER. 1 Mr. Trent Reznor. .. or 1 Mr. Maynard Keenan
@ncdfan

I've seen some poor performances by Manson online, and thankfully this wasn't one of them. He doesn't sound as good as his prime, but he sounds good as I'd hoped he would after years of drug abuse. Granted, Trent Reznor's a genius and a perfectionist who just keeps getting better somehow, defying the laws of nature, so I'm not going to argue you that he's in another league. I think Discipline has a lot to do with it...if you see what I did there...
