"Watch out for the company you keep" is a good phrase to remember. I wish Marilyn had more supportive, loving & protective people around her. She really needed it & deserved it...as do we all...

She is a timeless beauty. I love her ability to be perfect or almost perfect in every photo. On rare occasions when her hair or make-up was messy she was still able to give us a wide smile. She loved camera and camera loved her. Although she had an etiquette of a dumb blonde, she was a woman of many talents: singing, dancing, incredible talent for a comedy. Her work will survive and her fame will glow long after nowadays talentless celebrity sluts are gone.

Beautiful, beautiful woman. I grew up with Marilyn's movies. She died when I was in high school. She was a classic Gemini, the sign of the twins. One part of her was a grown-up, ambitious professional taking herself and her career as far as she could. The other part of her was the lost, unloved foster kid who felt she didn't belong to anybody, not even herself. Whichever part won by the time she died depends on which story you believe. Was she the adult finally getting her act together, making plans to remarry DiMaggio and move on - only to be murdered by the Kennedys? Or was it the terrified child who succumbed to her fears one night and offed herself with a bottle of pills? We will probably never really know.

I can fit any sign if I wanted to lol she was only human. PLEASE look up mkultra. She had anxiety and was its first victim. They ruined her and she became a sex toy for many later on. She was SO strong and had light in her eyes and suddenly that vanished! Rip poor beautiful woman

Well said, I believe she was murdered. But I do believe she wanted to die a lot in her life, she drenched a lot of that sorrow into her poems - hoping some one will take her seriously and understand that she wasn't Marilyn. Marilyn was some one she played, like a true actress. I hope that in Heaven, her family will finally understand, her mother won't be mentally ill. And she will finally have a family, and the stardom she desired.

the empty Nembutal bottle found next to her bed originally contained 25 pills. But based on the Nembutal -concentration in her Liver she should have taken 40 tabletts (plus/minus). During the autopsie there was not found any refractile christals. Not even under the microscope they found the slightest amount of any Nembutal or Chloralhydrate. Would she have taken anything to kill herself or by mistake there at least there would have been traces. According to a study from 1972 found in the book "Toxological and pathological Studies on Psychoactive Drug-Involved Death" based on over 1500 Autopsiesl, there was always found a concentration of the taken drug in the stomach. So she must have received an injection or an enema.

Marilyn Monroe is so beautiful. While she was alive, she had her upside downs. She enjoyed her work and always trying to improve her image and acting skills. I have noticed in some of her videos or pictures her mind would wonder staring and thinking. “I wonder what she was thinking?” She tried her very best for people to like her and still she was so hard on herself. She is known world wide with the help of her modeling and constantly being photographed. She is the most photographed artist.

The taped sessions with her psychoanalyst won't be released until 2039. Ridiculous. Who is being protected by withholding them? I guess someone can argue Marilyn's privacy & memory are, but, given her enormous fame even now & the enduring questions regarding her death, I don't think that is the reason. And, if that were true (to protect Marilyn), then why release them at all? Something not right about that.

Whitney Houston & her daughter, both drowning in the bathtub! That was really tragic too! And alot of people (myself included) still wonder if those deaths were accidental or foul play. Whitney was a very beautiful & talented woman too. She also had a tumultuous love life. Drugs were involved in both Whitney's & Marilyn's lives. All that beauty came with a heavy price...

Joe was fine and ended up learning from his mistakes. Only person who actually loved her. Her so called friends didn't even get her out of the institution. Arthur she liked because hr was smart. He didn't show his true colours till later. He was possessive jealous and if it were not for him she would have stayed with the Greene family and made films with her own company. Otherwise everything else that happened was the fault of mkultra.
@xero925

Coco Pops Arthur Miller used her to build his own reputation. Arthur was scum of the earth! I think it was in 1958 in the house they were living in together, Arthur intentionally left his journal open on a page that was calling Marilyn all kinds of names and his resentment for marrying her. He left it in a place where she would find it. He wrote a movie for Marilyn called The Misfits as a present. Watch this movie and pay very close attention to Marilyn's character Roslyn and some of the events she found herself in. Also after Marilyn died, he wrote another piece called After the Fall. Its beyond disrespectful to Marilyn! Joe Dimaggio was the only one who cared for Marilyn. When she died, Joe would never remarry. Google search Joe's last words as he was on his deathbed in 1999. Very touching after 37 years, all he still wanted was Marilyn Monroe! That's love and I wish Marilyn and Joe would have stay together, she would have had a longer life and maybe even still be here today...

Coco Pops She did relatively good with the Greene's. Yes, it was a patnership. But, they respected her and she was on equal parity with them and with their help expanded her horizons. Everything they did with her was good ( with the exception of that endless therapy nonsense. That helped do her in towards the end) Anyway.....Back to story. Arthur came in and married her. Got rid of the Greene's and massaged her ego to no end and then he took her for a finnacial bloodbath and decided it wasn't going to work. Well, it was mutual. Later, she realized she made a mistake in marrying him.

@christenemitri Marilyn is my favorite celebrity of all time, so I'm not hating when I say this... she wasn't completely procedure-free. She had a slight overbite corrected and a small operation done to make her nose a bit narrower. Hence why she became a little more 'attractive' as she aged than some of her younger-aged photos, but I absolutely agree with you.. she was a timeless beauty at any point in her life. She didn't even need work done.

MM was ahead of her time in so many ways. Not only did she lobby for Ella Fitzgerald to perform in a locale that didn't hire black singers or entertainers (by saying that if she was booked, MM would appear there every night of Ella's program to attract crowds and attention to the event....which she did), but she also lifted weights and jogged, when those things were practically unheard of for women during that era. So many other firsts for her. Her own production company and winning every battle that she had with Fox.
