If tomb raider is a shark movie, then die hard is a Harry Potter movie. A protagonist sneaking around trying to avoid Alan Rickman.

Ah, fair point there, Wes. Did you say, Gruber?

The idea that Megalodon is closer to a Mako than a Great White, makes them way more badass and scary. As for Hammerheads, one came out from the shallows and circled over me and my dive buddy, while we were on our safety stop at Bloody Bay Wall in Little Cayman. Wasn’t bothered by our bubbles. Alas, neither my buddy nor I saw a damned thing! We had to be told about it by others in our group.

Wow, what a bummer on the Hammer, Oren. I’m going to concentrate on our hammer site this summer. I got the bug last year...or was it two years ago now.

You had me at Shaun of the Dead. I love that movie. Favorite Shark movies are Jaws and Deep Blue Sea. Both messed me up pretty good. AJ is one of my favorite actors. In this scene in Tomb Raider they were in a cave, I think, she got left behind without her gear, she cuts herself to attract the shark and boops him on the nose to chill him out and ride him back to her boat. If I remember it correctly. Love this one. Well done you!

Hi Tammy! Love that one, too! (Shaun of the Dead). I've not seen this Tomb Raider movie, I'll have to see if it's on NetFlix. The shark punch just cracks me up! Jaws and The Meg were my favorites. Thanks for the support...trying new things, having some fun ;)

Soooo... One scientist to another, she’s making a LOT of very generalizable statements that are “matter or fact”, which is kinda taboo in the world of science. I’m sure she’s a NEW marine biologist, but the more she talks, the more she proves her limited experience in both science, analysis, and the real-world in general. 😂

LOL, yeah, she's young and enthusiastic. I dig her energy and I'm sure she'll be a star someday. I found a few vids out there reviewing shark thrillers...so I tried this new format. I might revisit one of the other two. In Melissa's full video she makes some good points about sharks that were just too long to include here. Thanks again for taking the time to add your thoughts.

And who are you? Another one of those Wikipedia certified scientist? Please, get a damn life. You don't even disprove anything cause you know you can't.

Great work. Unfortunately I am not sure what books is she reading or how much of a diver she is at all my ears hurt just be listening to her... but great content nonetheless... we need more of that my hope is for people some day to stop taking about things they don't know anything about.

Thanks, Cesar. Totally agreed. I wanted to have some fun with a biologist commenting on shark movies, and this was the best one I could find 😇

Yeah, so you should not comment about those movies since you clearly know nothing about what you are talking about. Like, who are you?
