When the president shows up to meet you he's there on behalf of God's system. This is why it's important for them to conduct themselves in particular manner and representation. Not what Trump did claiming in his words "injured veterans are losers and should be kept out of military parades" I'm assuming to make more room for winners. Not sure if Trump was discussing all injured veterans or just John McCain and Boa Biden because he didn't distinguish his general statement. Trump never had to struggle or fight for anything and was a draft dodger. The Pope and royalty stands in for God and presidents on behalf of corporation/conpanies. The ultimate gift one could receive from the federal government is a request granted. "What do you want" means what can they do for yourself, family and friends. Many veterans never get that privilege.

I served in the Army and was in the Middle East during Desert Shield/Storm. I brought home a rare form of cancer that cost me a kidney. My brother was a Marine and was killed in the bombing in Beirut on 10/23/83. I think all of us lose something when we deploy to combat areas. Wanting to “be myself” has to be the exact feeling I’ve had for a very long time, w/o knowing it. Tyler, our world of veterans and patriots recognize what you’ve given for this country, even if the president doesn’t. I met with President Reagan at the memorial service for the marines in 83. He spoke privately with immediate family members. When I told him my brother’s name, he knew his rank already. He had memorized the names of every young marine, sailor, and soldier killed that morning. I’m sorry you gave up your pain meds to meet Biden.

I got a visit from Bush when I was in Walter Reed in 06. It was awkward as hell. I wasn’t tough like this dude, because I sure as hell didn’t have the morphine drip turned off, which pretty much explains the goofy ass grin I had on my face when the the photographer snapped the picture. This marine talking about that bus ride brought in a flood of emotions, because I remember it like it was yesterday. Landed in the dead of night at Andrew’s, and was packed on that bus, I was in bad shape, but there were guys that were hurting way more than me. Those grunts, groans, and screams from their pain still haunt me. I’ll always remember that when I got unloaded at Walter Reed, that there were these ladies, I’m pretty sure that they were civilian volunteers, one older lady walked up to my stretcher, put her hand on my arm, and said “don’t worry, you’re safe now.” I had to grit my teeth, because tears started flowing, I couldn’t open my mouth to respond to her kindness, because if I did I know I would have started bawling. Then I got moved, and I never seen her again.

President Biden is a total disgrace to what America stands for. And to think, all Biden wanted to do was talk about his son that served in the Military is shocking. Also, Tyler's buddy (forget his name) that disregarded his own safety to help save Tylers' life while under attack should receive the Medal of Honor. Tyler's story makes me a proud American, patriot, and prior Army service member. When President Donald Trump canceled a visit to the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery near Paris in 2018, he blamed rain for the last-minute decision, saying that “the helicopter couldn’t fly” and that the Secret Service wouldn’t drive him there. Neither claim was true. Trump rejected the idea of the visit because he feared his hair would become disheveled in the rain, and because he did not believe it important to honor American war dead, according to four people with firsthand knowledge of the discussion that day. In a conversation with senior staff members on the morning of the scheduled visit, Trump said, “Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers.” In a separate conversation on the same trip, Trump referred to the more than 1,800 marines who lost their lives at Belleau Wood as “suckers” for getting killed. Trump expressed contempt for the war record of the late Senator John McCain, who spent more than five years as a prisoner of the North Vietnamese. “He’s not a war hero,” Trump said in 2015 while running for the Republican nomination for president. “I like people who weren’t captured.” When McCain died, in August 2018, Trump told his senior staff, according to three sources with direct knowledge of this event, “We’re not going to support that loser’s funeral,” and he became furious, according to witnesses, when he saw flags lowered to half-staff. “What the fuck are we doing that for? Guy was a fucking loser,” When McCain died, in August 2018, Trump told his senior staff, according to three sources with direct knowledge of this event, “We’re not going to support that loser’s funeral,” and he became furious, according to witnesses, when he saw flags lowered to half-staff. “What the fuck are we doing that for? Guy was a fucking loser,” the president told aides. On at least two occasions since becoming president, according to three sources with direct knowledge of his views, Trump referred to former President George H. W. Bush as a “loser” for being shot down by the Japanese as a Navy pilot in World War II. (Bush escaped capture, but eight other men shot down during the same mission were caught, tortured, and executed by Japanese soldiers.) On Memorial Day 2017, Trump visited Arlington National Cemetery, a short drive from the White House. He was accompanied on this visit by John Kelly, who was then the secretary of homeland security, and who would, a short time later, be named the White House chief of staff. The two men were set to visit Section 60, the 14-acre area of the cemetery that is the burial ground for those killed in America’s most recent wars. Kelly’s son Robert is buried in Section 60. A first lieutenant in the Marine Corps, Robert Kelly was killed in 2010 in Afghanistan. He was 29. Trump was meant, on this visit, to join John Kelly in paying respects at his son’s grave, and to comfort the families of other fallen service members. But according to sources with knowledge of this visit, Trump, while standing by Robert Kelly’s grave, turned directly to his father and said, “I don’t get it. What was in it for them?” Trump claimed that he has received the bodies of slain service members “many, many” times, but in fact he has traveled to Dover Air Force Base, the transfer point for the remains of fallen service members, only four times since becoming president. In another incident, Trump falsely claimed that he had called “virtually all” of the families of service members who had died during his term, then began rush-shipping condolence letters when families said the president was not telling the truth. Trump’s attempts to gut Medicaid are devastating to veterans. Trump’s latest proposed budget trimmed Medicaid by $1.5 trillion over 10 years, an approximate one-quarter cut. Today, nearly one in 10 U.S. veterans - almost two million in total - receive Medicaid. Not only has Trump sought to slash benefits, but he has presided over a withering of the VA. As of this spring, the department had 50,000 vacancies, a stunning figure that dwarfs the total number of employees in the departments of Education, Energy, Labor, HUD, and State combined. A 2019 VA Inspector General’s report found that 96% of VA clinics studied “reported at least one severe occupational shortage” and nearly 40% had 20 severe staffing shortages. These are 50,000 missing doctors, nurses, practitioners, and administrators to serve more than nine million veterans who rely on VA care. Failure to fill these positions has led to the closing of internal, PTSD, ENT and clinics across the country.

Surely the candidates age should be around 50 - 60 and no older, poor Joe is 81, probably doesnt know what day it is, after all he is an old man, Trump is 77, age should be a factor, as you get older your mind and body start to go. I understand with age comes experience but when you go too far, you just end up with an old man not fit to serve.
