You’d be shocked to realize that most of the overweight marines ran a 23 minute 3 mile on average. It was just the pull ups some of the had problems with and a lot of them would still at least get 10.

Me too man. They didn’t ride the bars down or go over high bars and under lowers they just jumped them all. Looked like it was a workout on the o course, not the o course being the workout. Not to mention what you get out of doing the o course. It’s not just a workout, it’s an experience with skill mixed in.

We very much still rude the ropes down, this is called a Tier 3 and it's not new, they've been doing this for awhile now, a Tier 1 is what you are use to, pretty much only POGs do Tier 1's and nothing else.

This is just the regular obstacle course found at every USMC unit in the 1990s. The difference here is the burpees under those bars that we had to hang under or straddle to traverse. These guys are definitely studs though.

The 2nd obstacle was unexpected, but in the 90’s which there’s a decent chance they grew up in, this was playground equipment. That’s why the obstacle courses weren’t a big deal. I’m a drill and I told my trainees they need to make their kids play outside 😂

The confidence course was different. It was a test of physical courage by having to jump and reach easy but seemingly scary distances because you were elevated about 8 to 20 feet.
