I stumbled upon Calvary chapel's teachings. I just enjoy the chapter by chapter teaching. I listened to the book of Jeremiah and now have a greater understanding and appreciation of it. Gof bless you pastor for your insights and candid teaching.

I've been following pastor Paul's ministry for a little over 6 years now. I come for deeper understanding. I will the chapter and if I feel confused I watch pastor Paul's teaching on sed chapter. I have found tremendous spiritual growth, I thank God for these teachings being so readily available. Thank you lord for nature and for existence. Thank you for your teachings and spiritual guidance. May the word touch every soul on earth so they may be informed on your word and law. I pray for the ones going through earthy troubles that they may be made whole again. Amen lord.

Thank you, for the reassurance, my husband and I are newly married and he is in the ministry. We have moved an hour away from our families. Which is nothing compared im sure. But reminding us, It’s for the work of the Lord and we love it and wouldn’t change it for the world…

Interesting parable about the workers in the vineyard...each of those men would have needed the same pay to feed their families....it wasn't their fault that nobody had hired them. It made me think that it was a way for the Lord to show us that in God's mercy and grace he gives each of us what we need regardless of what we do...Thank you God. GillywoMark

Love this sermon, I’m learning to pray God’s will be done and not mine or my perception of what God’s will might be but his will.

We often get annoyed with the impulsive Peter who blurts out anything that comes into his mind- no holding back. But, most of us are just like Peter in many ways, in our thought life especially. We may hold back and not 'blurt out' our self-serving thoughts, but in our hearts we are very much the same, unless by God's grace He changes us day by day.

Mark 20:35-41 Is this also a lesson on favouritism? Did James and John nonchalantly ask Jesus a deeply seated carnal selfish question for a favour to be seated on his right and the other ( .... the rest of disciples) at his left of his glory? V41... they became indignant with James and John. Tks.

I wonder if those two who will sit at the right and left of Christ are literally the first Adam and the last man/woman to be born

I don't think Peter was wrong for asking The Lord What will they have because they left everything to falow the Lord. Peter didn't know, and he wanted to know, He was just being honest and straightforward. We can learn to be honest and to ask honest questions like Peter did. He wanted to be clear on everything that's very good. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Jesus doesn't rebuke Peter for asking that question. I think that Jesus likes us to ask questions, He wouldn't want us to wonder and not have answers. We who believe in Him are His family.

My guess for who would sit on the right and left of Jesus in His glory would be the two criminals crucified with Him.
