Ans: Mark Antony reminds the Roman citizens that Julius Caesar had brought many slaves from other countries and kingdoms for the welfare of Rome and not for his own service. In war, he had brought back home huge ransoms to fill the public treasury and not his own personal wealth. When the common people and the poor got into problems, Julius Caesar always helped them to get out of their troubles. He worked selflessly for the betterment of Rome. According to all these generous acts of Caesar he cannot be considered as ambitious because an ambitious or selfish person would think about his own personal gain before the commons.
