I love the way she comes out with home truths. "People use videos to sell absolute rubbish". God, never a truer word and absolutely prophetic since the 80s! You could NEVER have a show like this from the mid-90s onwards. It's too critical and truthful. NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO CRITCISE (TELL TRUTH) ABOUT ANYTHING IN SHIT BIZ NOW! Pathetic and criminal, especially as all there ever IS to slag off as the industry is utterly full of shit.

MES had some very nuanced political opinions which don’t sit perfectly right with people on Left and Right, which is pretty on brand for the man. His concern wasn’t “refugees” in general. It was - whether you agree or not, whether he was accurate or not - that a disproportionate amount of immigrants fleeing dangerous countries were young men. He thought it was their duty to stay behind and defend their land, send the women and children to the safe countries and leave themselves till last. He also felt that the influx of immigrants could indirectly serve to further marginalise the white working-classes, to whom he identified with fiercely and championed. He was not concrete on this, it was just a concern. So yeah. I don’t particularly agree with MES on most of this, but i think it’s worth clarifying that MES wasn’t just a straightforward typical Daily Mail reader sort
